It is estimated that between 6% and 12% of the population may experience PTSD in their lifetime. PTSD is a crippling disorder characterised by symptoms that last for more than one month after exposure to trauma and result in considerable discomfort or functional impairment.

As trauma-focused talking therapies are hard to find and currently accessible drugs, including antidepressants, have been indicated as being inappropriate for people seeking long-term symptom alleviation, patients now have few therapy alternatives.

Due to the increased prevalence of PTSD following the Covid-19 outbreak, particularly among healthcare personnel, this is becoming more and more important.

The largest study of its sort in the UK, this research from the UK Medical Cannabis Registry, which is maintained by Sapphire Medical Clinics, examined 162 people with PTSD.

The patients were 37 years old on average, and 60% were male.

After enrolling in the registry, participants started to observe changes in their PTSD-specific symptoms as soon as one month had passed.

The study not only tracked improvements in patients' health-related quality of life, but also gathered information on negative incidents. Only 20% of individuals experienced a negative occurrence during the research period, according to the statistics. However, individuals who did have negative effects tended to have many negative effects, the authors note, indicating more research is necessary to determine which patients are the best candidates for medical cannabis therapy.

Upcoming Research

This expands on the thorough investigation that the UK Medical Cannabis Registry has released over the course of 2022, including five earlier articles on chronic pain, anxiety, and autistic spectrum disease. The Health Study Authority-approved research programme has also been honoured for its significance at the Japanese Society of Neuropsychopharmacology's Annual Awards.

In order to confirm these positive results and guide current clinical practise, it is envisaged that these data may contribute to randomised placebo-controlled trials.

However, such data do not offer gold standard proof, said Simon Erridge, head of research and access at Sapphire Clinics, "These results among PTSD patients are incredibly promising."

Clinical trial evidence that enlightens us all objectively is scarce. Although they are simply the first step in a lengthier and more thorough examination process, these findings mark a significant advancement in this field of research. We are optimistic that our study is well-positioned to aid in performing these studies and advancing the process of determining if this is an effective treatment for PTSD.

Alternate Studies

A traumatic event can result in PTSD, or post-traumatic stress disorder, which is a debilitating and life-altering affliction. It forces sufferers to repeatedly relive their trauma through flashbacks and nightmares, which can lead to panic attacks, hypervigilance, intense emotions, estrangement from loved ones, and occasionally even self-destructive conduct. Unfortunately, PTSD is a difficult disorder to manage or live with. Nevertheless, some PTSD patients claim that a contentious medication, medical marijuana, has helped them to relieve their severe symptoms.

Despite claims from PTSD patients that cannabis eases their symptoms and studies demonstrating potential therapeutic mechanisms, the issue of whether cannabis actually alleviates PTSD symptoms has remained contentious. No clinical study has been done on the subject, and the little that has been done to observe how people use cannabis for PTSD has produced somewhat conflicting results—some studies have suggested that cannabis shows promise, while others have shown that it has no benefits for the disease.

But more research is showing that cannabis may benefit those with PTSD, according to a recent study. The researchers discovered that cannabis users with PTSD not only experienced larger symptom reductions than those who did not use cannabis, but they also had a 2.57 times higher chance of recovering from PTSD during the course of the trial.

Researchers from a variety of universities, including The University of Pennsylvania, The University of California San Diego, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and The University of Colorado, participated in the study, which was financed by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. According to the study's authors, it's critical to know whether cannabis may genuinely help PTSD sufferers because it is increasingly used to treat the disorder, particularly in areas where it is legal (like Colorado).

Unfortunately, there isn't much research on this topic, therefore it's challenging to provide a response. The best way to find the answers to these concerns is through clinical research, but in the US, this is challenging to do. In clinical studies, cannabis is given to subjects along with placebos so that researchers can know exactly what is being consumed. A double-blind process is then used to prevent bias from influencing the outcomes.

Regrettably, legal restrictions preclude researchers from administering cannabis to study participants unless they receive it through the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). Unfortunately, the cannabis offered through NIDA is significantly different from the cannabis that is sold in legal cannabis markets in terms of potency, product types, and a number of other aspects. There are several legislation in Congress that would remove this restriction, thus these limitations may soon be loosened. However, until these limitations are changed, researchers who are interested in discovering how cannabis that users really use affects PTSD must rely on observational studies. In these studies, including the most current one, researchers look at how people with PTSD who use cannabis from the legal cannabis market fare.

In this study, two groups of PTSD patients were observed over the course of a year by the researchers. While the other group did not use any cannabis at all, one group did use cannabis for medical purposes. There were 75 participants in each group who fit the PTSD DSM criteria. Participants were evaluated for PTSD and for the severity of the various PTSD symptoms they were experiencing at the beginning of the study and every three months throughout the year they were studied.

The findings corroborated what PTSD patients who use cannabis have been saying for a long time. While the control group also experienced modest declines in symptoms over time, those who took cannabis experienced a considerably faster decline in symptoms. Compared to those who didn't use cannabis, they had considerably lower levels of symptom severity at the conclusion of the trial.

But the study also discovered that people who used cannabis were more than 2.5 times more likely to no longer have PTSD following the year-long study, which goes beyond symptom reduction alone. Scientists researching how cannabis affects the brain, memory, and stress response have suggested that cannabis may do more than just ease symptoms; it may also help people heal from the trauma that produced PTSD.

Fascinatingly, the majority of patients who used cannabis smoked high-THC cannabis flower. This suggests that future studies should focus especially on this kind of cannabis regimen since they observed such favourable benefits. Future clinical studies should be conducted using cannabis strains that PTSD patients actually use, the researchers advise. Hopefully the limits on cannabis study will be lifted soon so that the most cutting-edge scientific methods can be used to investigate these vital concerns. Urine toxicology testing also verified the presence (or absence) of cannabis use.

The website is obviously set up like your usual internet store, but it's targeted at people who want to relax by firing one up.

Forget about covert meetings and throwaway phones. Here, customers can purportedly add weed-related goods and accessories to their shopping carts "safely" and are welcomed with the promise of free shipping and customer support.

The brand's founder, who goes by the alias "S" for obvious reasons, claims to be making £25,000 in sales each day and is using their website to push for the legalisation of cannabis in the UK.

However, the food delivery brand was earlier this week notified that the weed brand may need to give up its domain name since the takeaway company claims it is violating its trademark.

In order to safeguard its trademarks and reputation, Deliveroo said in a statement that the company has filed a complaint to request the transfer of the domain names associated with "Dispenseroo" to Deliveroo.

The following was stated: "We have filed a complaint with the World Intellectual Property Organization and the registrant of Dispenseroo's website due to the clear and substantial imitation of our brand.

Related Article: First time cannabis and cocaine users will not be prosecuted under plans.

Before the legal move, the founder of Dispenseroo told LADbible that Deliveroo "can't do s***" because the names of the two companies are so similar.

Because their brand name is derived from the word "kangaroo," he asserted, "I mean, they can't do s*** because they don't possess the copyrights or trademarks in respect to the root elements.

So they failed. They really and genuinely took a "L" because they don't copyright that colour scheme or that open-source font, according to the founder of Dispenseroo.

The company, however, thinks that they are taking a statement with their brand despite the consequences they are currently facing, including the very real prospect of up to 14 years in prison and an unlimited fine for the company's founder for distributing cannabis.

'S' informed us that the main goal of Dispenseroo is to function as a campaign. "We want to launch a massive campaign where we help individuals get the cannabis-based treatments they require.

"However, we remain steadfast in our purpose and convictions. Social movements of any kind have been scrutinised throughout history, and we believe that cannabis should be legalised for both medical and recreational purposes.

"I guess you have to do something to make a standpoint,"

As a result, the seller could have to give Deliveroo the domain name.

The founder of Dispenseroo, who identifies himself as a "weed-smoking Londoner in his 20s with a background in advertising and logistics start-ups," however, appeared to have no plan of doing so when chatting to Vice World News under a pseudonym.

According to them, Deliveroo's antagonistic claims to this name—which they derived from the word "kangaroo"—are ridiculous, they told the publication.

"We get several messages from consumers on a daily basis about how much they depend on us and how much convenience we have given them. We have all gathered around the beauty of bud to fight for a cause we firmly believe in, despite the legal obstacles we already face because to the outdated cannabis regulations in the UK.

"We think that the battle we are having with Deliveroo is just another obstacle we must clear."

Additionally, they assert that they are the global owners of "several domain names" for Dispenseroo.

The high-profile campaign, according to cannabis activists in the UK, shows the 'great demand' for cannabis in the country as well as how 'ineffective' and 'futile' official prohibition efforts are.

"It's absurd that our government spends £500 million every year attempting to enforce its cannabis embargo and yet a website like this can set up and market itself like this," said Peter Reynolds, founder and chair of CLEAR and a member of the UK Cannabis Industry Council (CIC) executive committee.

Afroman Announces 2024 Presidential Run

The rapper 'Afroman' who wrote the song 'Because I Got High', has announced his intention to run for president in 2024, pledging to be...

Cannabis News

The rapper 'Afroman' who wrote the song 'Because I Got High', has announced his intention to run for president in 2024, pledging to be the "Cannabis Commander in Chief."

Afroman, a hip-hop artist and well-known figure in the cannabis industry, declared over the weekend that he will run for president of the United States in 2024. Afroman announced his candidature for president on Sunday during a concert performance at the Black River Coliseum in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, according to a TMZ story. Afroman rose to fame in the cannabis community with his song "Because I Got High" in 2000. Two days later, he used social media to reach a wider audience with his message.

Performing at the Black River Coliseum in Poplar Bluff, the US rapper told fans that he would be going up against Donald Trump and Kanye West.

Afroman posted on Instagram on Tuesday, saying, "My Fellow Americans, there comes a time in the course of human events when change must be affected. "That moment has come. The status quo is no longer acceptable because Americans are suffering. Unchecked inflation is a problem. The economy is in utter disarray. The real estate market is insane. Politicians are dishonest. Among our exemplary and brave officers in law enforcement, there are still some bad apples.

He said, "It is with great honour and pleasure that I formally declare Afroman as a candidate for President of the United States of America on the independent ticket.

Joseph Edgar Foreman, better known as Afroman, was born in Los Angeles in 1974. By the time he was in the eighth grade, he had already made a name for himself in the music industry by recording songs and selling them to his classmates. Before moving to Mississippi, he published his debut album in 1998. There, he built contacts in the music industry that would later help him produce and perform on "Because I Got High." In 2001, the year the song was used in movies like Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, it became popular because it explained how cannabis could interfere with daily tasks. In September, Afroman released Lemon Pound Cake, his most recent album.

As the "Cannabis Commander in Chief," Afroman swears to act.

In a social media post, Afroman referred to himself as the "Cannabis Commander in Chief" and the "Pot Head of State," and he pledged to make cannabis legalisation and other concerns a top goal of his presidential campaign.

While pharmaceutical businesses profit from drugs with unknowable negative effects, he added, "Medicinal plants are criminalised." "The media sows the seeds of hatred 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They make an effort to create divisions based on ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and any other criteria they can come up with.

Afroman listed eight goals for his 2024 presidential candidature in a different Instagram post. Decriminalizing cannabis and "other drugs with modest hazard profiles" came first. He pointed out that cannabis still classified by federal law as a Schedule I substance, the most stringent category under the country's drug regulations. He pledged to bring about change, claiming he would deschedule and decriminalise cannabis and start a public relations effort to raise awareness of its advantages.

Afroman also promised to make changes to the criminal justice system, saying that more than 40,000 individuals are already behind bars for cannabis-related offences, at an estimated cost of more than $1.5 billion annually. In addition, he promised to "fight hard to correct the wrongs of the past, in all areas where Americans have been failed inside the criminal justice system," promising to commute the terms of all nonviolent federal cannabis inmates.

He also demanded changes to the criminal justice system, an end to all foreign aid, and compensation for African Americans. The campaign's other top aims are the legalisation of prostitution, tax benefits for professional sports to promote celebratory displays, and the "promotion of unity, peace, and love."

"We require a candidate who is truly chosen by and for the people. We require a leader who can take the initiative and govern with a hard hand, Afroman stated. The need for a Commander in Chief who leads from a position of love rather than hatred is great among the populace. We require a leader who genuinely exemplifies the American dream in these trying times.

It has been four years since cannabis became available on the NHS.
On Medical Cannabis Awareness Week, which ran from November 1st to the 7th, our UK government were to make the easy amendment that would allow GPs to prescribe medical cannabis if it is legally available on the NHS.

Instead, GPs are required to recommend their patients to a consultant, who then submits the patient's case to a committee that is advised by drug manufacturers that actively oppose access to cannabis and run for profit.

You are aware that there is a medication that could be helpful and would enable you to live, rather than just exist. It would prevent seizures in your youngster. It's a medication that has been available by prescription in more than 50 countries since 2018, is backed by tens of thousands of studies demonstrating its efficacy, and has been reclassified by the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) in acknowledgment of its therapeutic usefulness.

You are aware that this medication is available, but you are unable to obtain it because, on the back end, the channels for doing so have not been established. The supply structure for NHS access to cannabis is essentially a fraud even though it is allowed for prescription.

The panel for other disorders was discontinued in 2019, not long after it was established; this panel (RESCAS) solely evaluates people with epilepsy. Thus, if you have MS and your GP refers your case, no one will take it into account, and there will be no financing. Although theoretically legal, trying to get cannabis through the NHS will lead you nowhere.

Three patients have received whole plant cannabis prescriptions through the NHS since 2018. Others are given access to isolate drugs, which are cannabis formulations with other substances like ethanol and separated plant-based chemicals (a known carcinogen). These have been shown to be far less effective for a variety of ailments.

One such drug, Epidyolex, was approved by the NHS in 2019 with help from members of the aforementioned panel, and in 2020 it brought in $510.5 million for GW Pharmaceuticals (out of $527.2 in total revenue, a 69 percent increase from the year before).

This drug's side effects include liver damage, sedation, and suicidal thoughts, in contrast to whole plant cannabis, where negative reactions are generally mild.

Vulnerable people now have to choose between selling their home, leaving their country, or going to the black market in order to obtain their medication. The justifications offered by our government and regulatory organisations like the BPNA (advised by the MHRA) and the MHRA (supported by the Department of Health and Social Care) are muddled.

"We need proof to verify safety and efficacy," is what is said. Despite the fact that since 2000, more than $40 million has been spent on cannabis research in the UK alone (albeit, dominated by studies trying to find the potential harms rather than benefits).

We also have more Real World Data (RWD) than any other pharmaceutical drug to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of cannabis, spanning decades and millions of users.

Project Twenty21, a Drug Science programme, offers the NHS peer-reviewed publications and regular data from 2,000 people for whom cannabis considerably improves life when other medications have failed. Contrary to the majority of pharmaceutical pharmaceuticals it might replace, it has never directly resulted in death. Before being permitted to purchase cannabis-based treatments privately, patients must first try alternative, occasionally illegal medications.

Even so, this is insufficient.

Even though RCTs are notoriously bad at evaluating long-term safety and are unsuited for investigating complex organisms - such as cannabis - they are still essential. The low incidence of major adverse effects has been demonstrated by more than 100 million users globally, but this is insufficient. However, it only took a little more than a year's worth of data from 200,000 US women to confirm the safety of the Moderna and Pfizer Covid vaccinations during pregnancy.

Safety is certainly not the problem.

The best outcome of commonly prescribed NHS medications, such as benzodiazepines or the CBD isolate medication Epidiolex, is 50%, and children with intractable epilepsy conditions could have a 95% chance of a significant reduction in seizures with whole plant cannabis (as opposed to a 50% chance with those medications), and who would die or suffer brain damage without it. It is unsafe for hundreds of thousands of people with chronic pain who could be living without suffering and without the worry of overdosing on prescribed medications.

Under "Outcome 22," when "activity to avoid reoffending or change behaviour by addressing the root cause of the offending" had been taken, first-time offenders would get "no further action."

This month's Joint Committee on Justice report made the new recommendation to decriminalise drug use and abuse in Ireland. The report acknowledged "the harms associated with pursuing a criminal justice led approach to drug use and misuse" and suggested that a health-led approach "is prioritised in both policy and practice."

The research recommends expanding the Medicinal Cannabis Receive Programme (MCAP) so that more people can access medical cannabis to treat chronic conditions, as well as increasing funding in harm reduction services, such as addiction treatments and social interventions.

Study On Cannabis Terpenes

The study is the result of years of work led by a research team including esteemed breeder and cultivator Jeremy Plumb (Chair, Science Board & Head of Genetics & Cultivation at True Terpenes) and Ethan Russo, MD (neurologist and medical researcher, pioneer of the Entourage Effect, and Founding Member of the True Terpenes Science Board).

In contrast to THC strength, dose, or terpene expression, a recent study is the first to show that a pleasant scent is connected to a more favourable experience with inhaled cannabis flower.

This month, a study co-authored by famous cannabis researcher Dr Ethan Russo entitled "‘The Nose Knows: Aroma, but Not THC, Mediates The Subjective Effects of Smoked and Vaporized Cannabis Flower’ " was released in the journal "Psychoactives."

You can find the full article by TrueTerpenes here.

You can view the paper here.

Customers always want to be able to purchase high-quality cannabis, and past research indicates that they are prepared to pay more for it. What, though, is "excellent" cannabis? Although THC potency and terpene content are frequently mentioned by consumers as indicators, it has not yet been characterised.

Dr. Russo and his team conducted their investigation with the goal of determining the characteristics of cannabis that contribute to its alluring subjective effects.

Commercially accessible cannabis flower products were administered to "healthy" volunteers in a randomised, double-blind approach, and they afterwards responded anonymously to a survey on their effects.

Independent researchers then conducted an analysis of the data.

Cannabis: Terpenes Are King

They discovered that a "pleasant subjective scent" was more strongly connected with pleasant subjective effects than terpene expression, THC strength, or THC dose.

According to the study, "These results indicate that, unlike THC potency, pleasant scent is predictive of positive subjective effects."

The aroma of cannabis inflorescence "appears to be a powerful indicator of the quality of cannabis inflorescence, similar to other agricultural commodities such as coffee and tea."

"Less is more"

Additionally, it seems that when it comes to cannabis use, less may be more.

Researchers discovered a link between overall appeal and cannabis consumption, with individuals who consumed less saying it had a stronger appeal.

Those who used marijuana less regularly also found it to be more enjoyable. The results showed that persons who reported a weekly or less consumption frequency on average were more likely to report higher appeal scores.

The vast majority of volunteers (88%) had followed the advice to wait 48 hours before ingesting the samples.

"Impairment and delight are unrelated phenomena," the authors write.

Although high-THC cannabis might make users feel high, it is not necessarily pleasant to take.

Related Article: List Of UK Cannabis Clubs

The Effects Of Terpenes On Cannabis

The effects of THC on various demographic groups were also the subject of several fascinating research findings.

Males were more likely to report positive effects of high-THC flowers in the study, which may indicate that women are more sensitive to THC's effects. In contrast to other age groups, participants 60 and older indicated the highest overall attraction.

THC potency was only weakly correlated with tachycardia but not with widely reported side effects including dry eye, dry mouth, or increased appetite.

Public Health & Cannabis

Given the "well-established health hazards of THC misuse," according to the authors, these findings may have significant ramifications for public health.

High-THC products account for a significant portion of the market in countries where cannabis is legal for adult use and are frequently thought to be in more demand than products with lower THC levels.

Producers are under pressure to develop more potent strains because of their higher market value and public demand (potency is still a significant role in consumer decisions, according to research).

But as prior studies have demonstrated, exposure to high-THC cannabis on a regular basis may be harmful, raising the chance of adverse effects like psychosis, cannabinoid hyperemesis, and cannabis use disorder.

Cannabis Consumer Safety

According to Dr. Russo and colleagues, these discoveries may enable customers to choose cannabis products in a safer and more responsible manner.

"There is a significant need for consumer education on how to consume safely and responsibly," they write in the paper's conclusion. "With a constantly expanding global legal cannabis consumer base."

These blinded, unbiased findings, which are consistent with harm reduction strategies, imply that little doses of low-potency cannabis with a nice scent, especially when used once a week or less, may be used to reach the highest level of recreational enjoyment.

The study's findings "may aid consumers in adopting evidence-based choices that can increase subjective happiness while lowering health risks."

Additionally, they suggest that the market should be "diversified" to provide a wider variety of products containing less than 20% THC, that aroma should be considered a "primary criterion" when evaluating product quality, and that products should be regulated in a way that allows consumers to smell before they buy.

"These evidence-based methods would have considerable public health implications," they continue, "by minimising THC as the major market demand driver and so reducing the dangers associated with THC overconsumption."

Cannabis Pioneers: Who is Dennis Peron?

This is an ongoing series 'Cannabis Pioneers', paying homage to the many cannabis activists that paved the way to bring cannabis back to...

Featured Cannabis Articles

This is an ongoing series 'Cannabis Pioneers', paying homage to the many cannabis activists that paved the way to bring cannabis back to the world - which is an ongoing issue for many here in the UK. Episode 3: Dennis Peron. I hope you enjoy.

Who is Dennis Peron?

There would not be any medical cannabis right now without Dennis Peron. As a homosexual guy living in San Francisco, USA at the time of the AIDS epidemic, Dennis saw how the federal government virtually abandoned his community, which had been destroyed by the disease. Many AIDS patients turned to cannabis to assist reduce the pain that came with the disease since there was no hope for respite in sight.

While leading the campaign for Proposition P, a measure to legalise medical cannabis in the city of San Francisco, Dennis came up with the term "medical marijuana." Dennis opened the San Francisco Buyers Club, the world's first cannabis dispensary, when Prop P was overwhelmingly approved, even though cannabis was still illegal in the state of California.

Dennis eventually went one step farther and co-authored Proposition 215, which legalised medicinal cannabis throughout the Golden State. The first stone to fall in the campaign to eliminate prohibition was Proposition 215, and without it, there wouldn't be any of the legal cannabis we enjoy today.

There is a tiny handful of committed and ardent cannabis advocates, like Dennis Peron, to thank if you are able to ingest legal cannabis. He was a campaigner who persistently fought for access to cannabis for medicinal use, starting with the San Francisco LGBT community during the height of the AIDS crisis in the 1980s and 1990s. He is widely recognised as the "Father of Medical Cannabis" in California. In 1990, Jonathan West, his lover, passed away from AIDS.

You and every cannabis consumer in the world owe him an obligation of gratitude, even if you don't know his name. I'll start from the beginning as I'm getting ahead of myself.

Harvey Milk, the first openly homosexual politician in California who was later slain, and Mary Jane Rathbun, or Brownie Mary, who gained notoriety for making and distributing cannabis delicacies to San Francisco's AIDS sufferers, were among the flamboyant friends Peron retained. Later on, he wed John Entwistle, another medicinal cannabis enthusiast.

Peron was raised in Long Island, New York, after being born in the Bronx. Peron returned to the United States with two pounds of cannabis that had been smuggled after serving in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Soon after, he relocated to San Francisco's Castro District and joined Abbie Hoffman's Youth International Party (Yippies). In 1991, he helped pass San Francisco's Proposition P, a law that permitted city residents to use medicinal cannabis without being prosecuted.

Violence, cannabis, and the path to legalisation

The first open medical cannabis shop in the United States, San Francisco's Cannabis Buyers Club, was co-founded by Peron, Brownie Mary, and a few other individuals in 1994. However, the Cannabis Buyers Club was not like the modern, spotless, and legal cannabis stores that consumers are accustomed to. The collective was essentially selling illegal cannabis in broad daylight and was frequently threatened with harassment, arrest, and even violence (Peron was shot in the leg by a San Francisco police officer).

Peron's work on California's Proposition 215 is arguably his most well-known contribution to the contemporary cannabis scene. It is believed to have paved the way for the passing of Prop 64 in 2016, which legalised cannabis for adults 21 and older in the Golden State.

Related Article: ,Who is Rick Simpson?

He did not, however, endorse, either literally or symbolically, Prop 64 or Prop 19 before it. Peron held that all cannabis users, whether they are aware of it or not, are doing so for therapeutic purposes and that there is no such thing as "recreational" cannabis.

In 2016, Peron said to Merry Jane, "There is no recreational cannabis. They made it up. What they're trying to do is split us by saying there are people having fun and there are people medicating. "But individuals who use marijuana don't get 'high,' they get normal; the government is attempting to stigmatise these people because they're having a good time by claiming that they are getting high.

In the "Time for Hemp" podcast, he expressed his strong opposition to cannabis taxes, saying, "In California and other states, medicine is not taxed. Now all of a sudden our medicine has to be taxed. And I don't get this tax. And I know it sounds good to say, "Let's just tax our way out of this thing. But you can't. This is a moral crusade."

At the age of 72, Peron passed away from lung cancer; he is survived by his husband, John Entwistle, a significant activist in the gay rights and cannabis legalisation movements. Peron has left behind an important and groundbreaking legacy. In his later years, he ran a cannabis farm in northern California and received official recognition from the San Francisco Board of Supervisors for his activism.

Dennis was a pioneer in the cannabis legalisation movement and the creator of the nation's first medical cannabis clinic.

Dennis, who saw the injustice of having sick people suffer when there was medication to ease the pain, is forever deserving of thanks on behalf of the medical cannabis sector in California and, by extension, the rest of the globe.

When a military transport carrying soldiers from Vietnam docked in San Francisco in 1969, Dennis Peron opted to stay. He then located accommodation, unzipped his duffel bag, and began dealing with the kilo of South East Asian cannabis.

When homosexuality was extensively discriminated against across the nation at the time, he picked San Francisco because of the freedom he found there. San Francisco also had a sizable gay community, which had a significant impact on views, politics, and society.

H signed the contract for his first book, 'Marijuana Growers Guide', there in 1973. A few years later, he opened a café called "The Island," which had a nice ambience and cannabis usage as a rule, downstairs from his cannabis supermarket, which was on the second story.

One of the first medical cannabis activists in the United States was Dennis Peron.

In 1978, Dennis drafted Proposition W and collected enough signatures to place it on the ballot.

"WE, THE PEOPLE OF SAN FRANCISCO, DEMAND THAT THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY AND THE CHIEF OF POLICE DISCONTINUE THE ARRESTING AND PROSECUTING OF PEOPLE FOR POSSESSING, TRANSFERRING, OR GROWING MARIJUANA."

As a San Francisco Supervisor (City Councilman) who began his political career by gathering signatures for the initiative, Harvey Milk would later be assassinated by another Supervisor who was a right-wing, anti-gay zealot.

Dennis witnessed the relief cannabis gave Jonathan as the AIDS virus decimated his body, including the nausea, anorexia, and agony in his joints and nerves. Dennis' life partner, Jonathan West, passed away from AIDS in 1993.

The first ever medical cannabis dispensary in the United States was established by Dennis Peron.

The Buyers Club by Dennis Peron

He created the first medicinal dispensary in the United States, The Cannabis Buyers Club, on Church Street in the Castro District, the city's most overtly homosexual neighbourhood, after realising how much cannabis had benefited his dying partner.

Dennis was literally regarded as an angel, giving reprieve and comfort to the sick and needy, while knowing he was taking a risk when he opened the business, which was an instant success and within a few months had attracted more than 5,000 medical patients.

The Buyers Club provided as a communal centre and living space for many of the patients who lived in SROs and frequently lost their jobs and friends when they become ill. It also gave patients access to cannabis.

Tom Ammiano, who is currently a member of the California Assembly and recently presented a plan to legalise and tax cannabis in the state of California, cut the ribbon at the opening of Dennis' club when he was serving on the San Francisco Board of Education.

The California Attorney General eventually shut down The Cannabis Buyers Club.

Dennis Peron always grew his own cannabis because he felt everyone should have the freedom to do so. Photo of Garden Purple Kush bud from his garden, 1994.

The damn had broken: hundreds of new medical dispensaries sprung up to service the patients, and now there are thousands of dispensaries in California. The California Attorney General was another ultra-right wing politician.

Dennis simply didn't have the motivation to be a businessman and never re-opened his dispensary. He was more of a social worker and social innovator.

In the home he had transformed into an oasis of greenery, comfort, and hospitality, he resided in the Castro District of San Francisco.

Dennis has always been a strong proponent of organic farming and patient autonomy.

Dennis didn't rely on the generosity of medical dispensaries and growers to provide him with his medication; instead, he cultivated it himself.

Clones are easily accessible, you can buy them at a dispensary, friends and neighbours exchange them, or give them away. There is a broad number of types available, therefore his garden contains several well-known species.

Even though Dennis' garden wasn't the most effective or prolific, it remains one of my favourites.

Clones are grown up a bit, and then moved to a larger container in Dennis' grow room, which is crowded with plants on the floor and shelves along the walls, in preparation for growing them outside.

The naked light bulb lights the whole room, which is packed with plants on the floor and shelves along the walls. Dennis' grow room was used to prepare plants for growing outside. Clones are grown up a little, and then moved to a larger container.

Once they are big enough, Dennis transplants his clones into pots that range in size from about 1-12 gallons to five gallons. Dennis begins his clones in rockwool in a little room to the side of the home.

He preferred to plant in portable containers since he could easily move them into sunny regions of the deck and control their flowering cycle by transferring them into darkness.

The time of day and the season affect the sun's angle and, consequently, the sunny regions.

Most of Dennis Peron's plants were in tiny pots that could be relocated to their inside shelter each evening, where they were positioned at various elevations to catch the sunshine.

The plants were enjoying the early afternoon sun when I visited Dennis in 1994; one set was on a specially built shelf along the deck fence, and another group was seated on a table on the sunny deck.

Plants emerge from the closet during the day to sunbathe on a shelf in the sun.

Every night, he put his plants in a little chamber or a plastic-covered outdoor shelter to shield them from stray light and San Francisco's chilly nighttime air, which may dip from high 70s during the day to the low 50s or even 40s at night.

His containers had the bottoms removed so the roots could spread out onto a 14-gallon tray.

The fertiliser and soil brands vary since friends frequently provide stuff. All the plants were compelled to blossom while they were young so they remained under two feet tall and extremely manageable.

The winds change around Labor Day to allow the sun to shine through. September is the warmest month of the year in the city with warm, clear weather. The cool summer weather delays growth and maturity so varieties take a 20–30% longer to grow and mature here. San Francisco is cool during the summer because the cold air from the sea meets the warm inland air there, creating fog.

These mild conditions make it much less likely to suffer environmental damage because the plants don't suffer from container burn and their water needs are much lower than plants growing in hot conditions.

Due to the mild climate in San Francisco at the time, Dennis' plants were in all stages of development, from clones developing into young plants to plants close to harvest.

Plants can be grown all year round, especially in this situation, where plants get sunlight during the day and protection from the cold air at night. The daytime temperature rarely falls below 40 degrees throughout the year, and even in winter the temperature can rise into the mid 70's.

If the plants are not given additional light to break up the lengthy dark period, they will begin to flower in late September. Once the plants are tall enough, they are then moved outside to flower under the lengthy regimen of uninterrupted darkness.

Peron also appeared on the front cover of High Times magazine. A true pioneer for cannabis and a real loss to the world.

You could have come across Jack Herer, one of the most well-known sativas that have ever graced the cannabis market, during your most recent trip to a cannabis retail establishment. This unusual specimen of bud was named in honour of a renowned proponent of legalisation whose work made a significant contribution to the current position of cannabis legislation and the general public's awareness of the plant's numerous health benefits.

The Story Of Jack Herer Cannabis Pioneer

While Jack Herer spent much of his adult life on the West Coast, he was born in New York in 1939. The 6-foot-tall, 230-pound "Emperor of Hemp" had long, shaggy hair that was always messy, tie-dyed clothes with cannabis leaves on top, and stars and stripes on the bottom. Herer, the third-youngest child, was reared in Buffalo, New York. He left high school and ended up working in the Army as a military police officer during the Korean War. He worked as a sign painter when he returned to the United States. He relocated to Los Angeles in 1967 with his three kids and his then-wife. It was there that he would find cannabis two years later. His life was altered by it. He, in turn, altered the direction of cannabis legalisation in the United States.

Cannabis Activism & Jack Herer

Herer focused all of his attention and effort on cannabis in the early 1970s. At the age of 30, he smoked his first joint. He then created new types of paraphernalia and pushed the Great Revolutionary American Standard System (GRASS), a cannabis grading system. He then shifted to politics. Herer began his campaign to make hemp legal in California. That began in 1973, but he continued to work tirelessly for the cause for years after that.

He teamed up with headshop proprietor Ed Adair, and the two established the Reefer Raiders, a political action group. In Westwood, the gang slept out in front of the federal building while smoking cannabis and causing mayhem. Through the 1980s, this issue reached a boiling point. He was sentenced to two weeks in prison in 1981 after being found guilty of trespassing on government property. He was gathering support for a California ballot proposition that would have legalised hemp. Police searched Herer's brand-new High Country headshop in Van Nuys in 1983. Due to a state statute that makes paraphernalia unlawful, police confiscated 6,000 items, assessed him a $1,500 fine, and sentenced him to two years of probation. Herer was unaffected by this.

The Emperor Wears No Clothes: Written By Jack Herer

He released "The Emperor Wears No Clothes," a novel that would profoundly alter his and countless other lives, in 1985. Herer began writing it in 1981 while incarcerated and worked on it for years by scouring documents and conducting research. When the US government decided to make cannabis illegal in 1937, only two years before Herer was born, he even travelled to the Library of Congress in search of proof for his claim. According to this argument, the government had repressed knowledge regarding the drug's advantages. Herer became known as 'the Hemperor', and 'The Emperor Wears No Clothes' was dubbed 'the Hemp Movement Bible'. The history of cannabis production is covered in Herer's book, which also criticises the government's ban on hemp farming by providing copious facts and documents. Herer cites several applications for the plant, including the production of paper, fibre, fuel, food, a plastic substitute, and even a variety of medicines. It even explores who benefits from cannabis' criminalization and its ban, and it offers suggestions for how to move the legalisation process forward more quickly. In campaigns to legalise cannabis and get it taken off the United States' list of prohibited narcotics, it is still cited today.

"There is only one known annually renewable natural resource that is capable of meeting all of the world's transportation, industrial, and home energy needs, while also reducing pollution, rebuilding the soil, and reforestation, if all fossil fuels and their derivatives, as well as trees for paper and construction, were banned in order to save the planet, reverse the Greenhouse Effect, and stop deforestation.

The fable The Emperor's New Clothes from 1837, which centres on a conceited emperor who spends all of his wealth on new clothes, is referenced in the title. The lesson of the tale is to never allow fear or pride prevent you from speaking up. Herer believed that everyone ought to feel the same way about the ban on cannabis. Herer's rise to stardom was fueled by The Emperor Wears No Clothes. It has been updated several times throughout the years and has around one million copies sold. Herer spoke about his book and the advantages of the cannabis plant for years while on the road. Herer addressed at 60 separate rallies in 48 different locations in only six weeks in 1990. Those public appearances were his source of energy and fueled the legalisation movement. The too busy routine finally began to cause health problems to arise.

The Legacy and Death of Jack Herer

Herer had a heart attack and a stroke at the same time in 2000 while attending a hemp festival. He said that cannabis oil assisted in his recuperation, although his recovery only lasted ten years. History replayed itself in September 2009 when I spoke out in favour legalising cannabis at the Hempstalk event in Portland. After he finished speaking, he suffered a crippling heart attack. He never bounced back. Herer passed away in his Eugene, Oregon, home in April of 2010.

People celebrate Jack Herer Day every year on June 18th.

His wife, the fourth of his four wives, six children, a brother, and a sister will all continue to live. Other well-known items made from the strain given the name Jack Herer include Jack the Ripper, Jack's Cleaner, and Jack Skellington. With a flowery and citrusy aroma and a calming but energising impact on the body and mind, the original Jack Herer is renowned as a great wake-and-bake strain.

The Jack Herer cannabis strain has won nine different Cannabis Cup awards. June 18th is Jack Herer's birthday - this year, he would have turned 83.

The influence of Jack Herer in the cannabis industry is extensive. Given his longtime dedication to the cause, his efforts to educate the public about cannabis, and the overall mystery surrounding his unique lifestyle, many well-known legalisation activists would probably cite Herer as a cultural pathfinder.

During the harshest years of cannabis prohibition, Herer wasn't the only supporter of legalising cannabis. He was nonetheless one of the most noticeable. Additionally, he provided a platform for other people and institutions to express their views. He was also involved with the United States Grassroots Party, one of the most illustrious political organisations of the time with a strong legalisation agenda. Herer garnered thousands of votes throughout his two presidential campaigns for the party.

Herer sadly passed away in 2003. In his later years, he started to emphasise the benefits of psychedelics for healing the mind. Even though Herer is no longer with us, his numerous contributions to cannabis culture and the history of legalisation, not just in the United States but all around the world, continue to have an influence today. A well-known sativa strain by the name of Jack Herer has won worldwide competitions, so people who wish to learn more about Jack today may do so.

The Jack Here Cannabis Strain: Information

Jack Herer, also known as "JH," "The Jack," "Premium Jack," and "Platinum Jack," is a sativa-dominant cannabis strain. Sensi Seeds produced Jack Herer in an effort to produce both heavy resin and cerebral elevation by fusing a Haze hybrid with a Northern Lights #5 and Shiva Skunk cross. The genetic diversity of Jack Herer results in a variety of phenotypes, each of which has its own distinct traits and impacts. Thoughtful, euphoric, and creative are how users generally describe this 55% sativa hybrid.

The Jack Herer strain was developed in the Netherlands in the middle of the 1990s, and Dutch pharmacies later sold it as a certified medical-grade variety. Since then, this sour, pine-scented variety has won countless prizes for its excellence and strength. Indoor gardeners should wait 50 to 70 days for Jack Herer to blossom because many breeders have tried to produce this popular strain themselves in sunny or Mediterranean conditions.

If you know of anyone that deserves some recognition for cannabis activism, feel free to let us know in the comments!

Numerous activists who made their imprint on the history of the cannabis business through their innovation or passion for cannabis legalisation may be found in the pantheon of cannabis icons. However, one person, in particular, has gained notoriety among cannabis users all over the world as result of a creation that changed the way we look at cannabis: RSO. A true industry icon whose name was given to his signature Rick Simpson Oil, Rick Simpson will continue to be remembered for decades to come.

What makes Rick Simpson's medicinal cannabis oil unique, and who is he?

RSO, sometimes referred to as Rick Simpson Oil, was one of the first contemporary cannabis extracts. Since its first introduction in the early 2000s, many medical cannabis patients have come to rely on it because of its potent effects and medicinal properties. Let's first study the man who created RSO, Rick Simpson, to comprehend the medication, its uses, and its advantages.

Before founding the medicinal cannabis industry, Simpson worked as an engineer in Nova Scotia, Canada. Here is where a workplace accident altered his life irrevocably.

In the late 1990s, Simpson was working to remove asbestos from a hospital boiler room when he was overcome by hazardous vapours and lost consciousness. Despite receiving timely medical care, Simpson had years of dizziness and tinnitus (commonly known as ringing in the ears) after the incident.

Rick Simpson is well known for being an activist and grower of medical cannabis.

Simpson was unable to get the respite he so sorely sought from conventional medications and pain prescriptions. He started looking into alternative treatments, and soon he was cultivating and consuming cannabis. Finally, with help from a plant in his garden no less, he was able to control his symptoms.

Related article: Study find cannabinoids 'as beneficial as vitamins'

A few years later, in 2003, Simpson received a basal cell carcinoma skin cancer diagnosis. He then looked into cannabis's potential as a treatment for this. Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, the primary psychoactive cannabinoid in cannabis, was discovered to destroy cancer cells in mice, according to research that Simpson read from The Journal of the National Cancer Institute. Motivated, he carefully applied oil to his skin after carefully extracting it from his plants. The malignant growths on his arm reportedly vanished in less than a week. Simpson was now a fervent supporter of cannabis's therapeutic uses and vowed to spread the word of his discovery.

Despite being innovative, Rick Simpson's narrative embodies the pioneering spirit that has long been a part of cannabis culture. Rick Simpson is a Canadian who enjoys weed and used to work as an engineer. Cannabis was illegal in Canada when he created his oil, though the country has subsequently legalised its development and sale for recreational purposes.

Rick worked in dangerous settings, and during the course of his career, he developed several illnesses connected to the poisonous substances he came into contact with at work. He had several chronic illnesses after years of carrying on in this way of life, with his skin cancer diagnosis in 2003 being the most serious.

To avoid using conventional pharmaceutical drugs for these illnesses, Simpson sought for a natural type of treatment. As a result, Simpson acquired a liking for cannabis and soon had his crop that he could use for therapeutic purposes.

Notably, Simpson decided not to patent either his oil or his extraction technique as a testimonial to his character and enthusiasm. Instead, he pushed RSO to be reachable to everyone who need it.

Related article: The Brand New UK 420 Forum

How is RSO made and what is RSO cannabis?

Rick Simpson Oil eventually came about as a result of the need to treat the painful outgrowths that appeared on his skin because of cancer. Much intriguing research was being presented at the time addressing the possible effects of cannabis in treating various illnesses. Simpson had come upon a report about experiments using cannabis to treat cancer in rats.

Rick Simpson, an engineer, created his unique extract to cure his skin cancer. Simpson reports that after just a few days, his growths entirely disappeared, leaving him with just a potential miraculous product that he decided to spread the word about to the larger cannabis community.

RSO can be regarded as a full-spectrum extract, however, this is debatable. The term "full-spectrum" refers to full-spectrum cannabis oil (FSCO) or full-extract cannabis oil (FECO), which preserves all of the plant's constituents during extraction, including flavonoids, phenols, fatty acids, terpenes, and cannabinoids.

Full-spectrum extracts may have a greater therapeutic impact on patients, but additional study is needed to confirm this. The "Entourage Impact," or the idea that cannabis chemicals combine to generate a superior effect when consumed together rather than separately, is specifically mentioned by experts. The total is bigger than the sum of its parts, in other words.

Of course, whether or not chemicals can be stabilised and sustained depends on the extraction technique. Full-spectrum extracts may be produced with ethanol, mild heat, and persistence. RSO may be extracted using other types of solvents like alcohol or butane, but at Calypso, we stick to industry standards and employ food-grade ethanol.

Full-spectrum extracts may be produced with ethanol, mild heat, and persistence.

Any cannabis strain may be used to make RSO, however Indica-dominant strains (strains frequently linked with soothing effects) and strains with high THC content are preferred. The colour and consistency of RSO might vary depending on the strain employed. While some cannabis strains have a light amber hue and a gooey consistency, others have a dark, molasses-like substance. However, the final result is a highly strong oil (>60% THC), thus it is advised for patients with diseases that call for a large dose of THC or for those who have a high tolerance to THC.

Simpson also wrote a book detailing his discovery which you can find on Amazon.

How to use RSO oil

It couldn't be simpler to use Rick Simpson Oil. Simply measure out a dose of the medication and apply it to the specific part of the body that is inflamed or uncomfortable. You should feel the effects of the RSO starting to take effect quickly.

RSO can be used in multiple ways, making it a flexible option for individuals with various diseases. RSO, however, is often taken orally or used topically. As a result, Calypso offers patients two options: syringes and capsules.

While syringes can be used to inject oil into meals or drinks, sublingually beneath the tongue, or topically on the skin, capsules provide a more exact dosage (oral). Compared to other ways, oral ingestion provides longer-lasting comfort with a delayed onset.

RSO is frequently consumed orally or used topically.

Remember that RSO can be astringent and even bitter to certain people due to its full-spectrum nature! Thankfully, its flavour may be readily covered up by food or beverages. Yoghurt, avocados, peanut butter, and other healthy "fatty" snacks are excellent choices and can help your body absorb nutrients more quickly. The oil can also be diluted in your morning cup of coffee or tea after being frozen in individual dosages on a piece of parchment paper.

Related article: UK Medical Cannabis - How To Get Prescribed Legal Weed In The UK

RSO oil dosing

As was already established, Rick Simpson was open about his method of extraction for RSO as well as his therapeutic journey. This prompted him to create and disseminate a regimen based on his results for other people to use. Simpson advises patients to "start gently" and let their bodies become used to THC before adjusting to its effects. On a website connected to Simpson, thorough dosing directions may be found.

Dosing is patient-specific and ought to be determined, among other things, by your health condition(s) and biometrics. To create a treatment strategy that is ideal for you and your requirements, always speak with a qualified medical cannabis doctor.

Rick Simpson Oil has been anecdotally reported by people who have used it to lessen pain and inflammation in afflicted parts of the body, even though more study has to be done on the precise effects of cannabis on treating various medical ailments.

When studies that highlight the advantages of RSO have finally been conducted, we'll let you know!

In a clinical study, doctors will administer the treatment, known as Sativex, coupled with the chemotherapy drug temozolomide to patients throughout the UK who have a recurring brain tumour called a glioblastoma in an effort to eradicate dangerous cells.

It will be the first research of its kind ever conducted.

Although glioblastoma is an aggressive and difficult-to-treat kind of brain tumour, doctors have been able to treat it with surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy nearly usually with some success. Those that are diagnosed only have a 12- to 18-month survival span, while those with recurrent glioblastoma only have a 10-month lifespan.

Can cannabis treat brain tumours? Clinic trial research

The first research of its kind in the world seeks to determine whether using Sativex together with chemotherapy may cure glioblastoma.

Cancer organisations and the NHS are getting ready to look at the possibility of using a cannabis-based mouth spray to treat brain tumours and extend patients' lives.

The illness is the most prevalent type of brain cancer in England, where 2,200 people are diagnosed with it each year.

In order to lessen their ,spasticity, Sativex is already administered to multiple sclerosis patients whose condition has not improved despite therapy. It is one of three cannabis-based medications that the NHS presently uses.

According to Susan Short, professor of clinical oncology and neuro-oncology at Leeds University and the study's principal investigator, "We believe that Sativex may kill glioblastoma tumour cells and that it may be particularly effective when given with temozolomide chemotherapy, so it may enhance the effects of chemotherapy treatment in stopping these tumours from growing and allow patients to live longer." That is what the study will attempt to test, she added.

Early in 2019, 232 patients will be enrolled in the research from at least 15 institutions, including specialised cancer centres, throughout the UK, according to the Brain Tumour Charity, which is supporting it. The chemotherapeutic medication and a placebo will be given to the remaining third, while the other two thirds will get Sativex and temozolomide.

Sativex comprises the psychoactive cannabis delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which causes users to feel "high," and the non-psychoactive cannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD), which can help relieve pain, inflammation, and anxiety.

According to Dr. David Jenkinson, interim chief executive of the Brain Tumour Charity, "We think this research might pave the path for a long-awaited new lifeline that could potentially provide glioblastoma sufferers precious additional months to live and build memories with their loved ones."

Related Article: ,Ground-breaking trial to begin on how medical cannabis affects the brain.

"We are particularly delighted that this world-first trial here in the UK might assist to hasten these answers," the statement reads. "We know there is great curiosity in our community concerning the potential activity of cannabis in treating glioblastomas."

Cannabis brain tumours: NHS linked investigation

The experiment comes after a previous investigation, a phase one trial, which included 27 individuals and examined just the safety of combining Sativex with temozolomide. The Aristocrat research, a new three-year trial, will examine the safety of that regimen as well as its effects on patients' outcomes, including how long they live.

The most recent preliminary results were very encouraging, and Jenkinson continued, "We now look forward to understanding whether adding Sativex to chemotherapy could offer life extension and improved quality of life, which would be a major step forward in our ability to treat this devastating disease.

Short said that the preliminary research revealed that the medicine may extend some people's lives. Sativex participants had a higher survival rate a year later than placebo individuals.

"It demonstrated the safety of this combination, despite the fact that some patients experienced nausea, fatigue, and dizziness as adverse effects.

"The purpose of the trial was not to determine whether ,Sativex, provided a greater chance of survival. However, it did imply that some Sativex patients performed better than anticipated and superior to those who just had chemotherapy, the doctor noted.

After losing 25% of its revenue due to the COVID-19 epidemic, it has discontinued its regular programme of research funding.

The clinical trials division of ,Cancer Research UK at ,Birmingham University is in charge of overseeing the new research. The unit's head, Prof. Pam Kearns, emphasised the need of conducting studies like this one to determine if cannabis or its constituent compounds may be used to treat cancer. Sativex and temozolomide, two chemotherapy drugs, are being used in a clinical trial to treat a glioblastoma, a current brain tumour, in an effort to eradicate malignant cells.

It will be the first research of its kind ever conducted.

Sativex is a cannabis-based medicine. It is licensed in the UK for people with ,Multiple Sclerosis muscle spasticity that hasn’t improved with other treatments. Sativex is a liquid that you spray into your mouth.

An online survey, blood testing, and a VR experience make up the research.

The objective, according to Dr. Marta Di Forti, is to comprehend how cannabis medicine affects the brain.

You could get paid to participate in a ground-breaking research that has been initiated to examine the effects of cannabis on the human brain.

The Cannabis & Me project at King's College London is looking for 6,000 Londoners between the ages of 18 and 45 who either use weed regularly, have done so less than three times, or have never tried it.

In spite of the fact that more than 200 million individuals use cannabis every day globally, researchers will examine how the substance affects their brains.

Understanding the science underlying the drug is "paramount," according to the researchers, given the growth in usage and potential legalisation of the substance in the future.

The study project is divided into two parts: a 40-minute online survey in which all participants will be entered to win prizes, and a face-to-face evaluation in which those chosen to complete it will be paid £50.

One of the foremost experts on cannabis and psychosis and the study's principal investigator, Dr. Marta Di Forti, stated: "Many people use cannabis every day, both recreationally and for therapeutic purposes.

However, prescribing of medical cannabis is still uncommon in the UK. Our research seeks to offer information and resources that help boost medical professionals' confidence in prescribing cannabis safely in the UK and throughout the world when necessary.

Worldwide, cannabis is utilised for both recreational and therapeutic purposes. While some proponents claim it helps both, others report adverse consequences including a worsening in their mental health.

How do I participate in the Kings College study of cannabis on the brain?

By filling out this form for Kings College London and Cannabis & Me (CAMe)

Who is qualified to complete this UK cannabis study?

To participate, you must:

Be aged between 18 and 45.

Stay in London

Use cannabis now, have never used it, or have only ever used it three times or less.

proficiency in English

Be prepared to participate in the in-person evaluation

Be prepared to give a blood sample

Be open to participating in a virtual reality (VR) encounter.

Not be currently or previously diagnosed with a psychotic condition

Not being treated for psychotic illnesses right now

How is the study conducted?

The research will be divided into two sections:

An online survey that takes 40 minutes to complete and may be done on a computer, smartphone, or tablet

A subset of respondents to the survey will then get an invitation to the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience, located at King's College in Denmark Hill, London, where they will have the opportunity to interact with the research team and complete a face-to-face evaluation.

Related: Join The UK 420 Forum

To further understand how cannabis affects users and how it may lead to paranoia, the study will combine DNA genetic and epigenetic testing with psychological and cognitive analysis, virtual reality, and other techniques.

Participants in the first phase of the research will fill out a 40-minute online survey on their experiences with the substance and the circumstances under which they use it, such as trauma, diseases, or social events.

The questionnaire also seeks to determine how variations in mood, anxiety, and how we feel and think, particularly in social contexts, affect cannabis usage.

A prize drawing for a chance to win a £100 Amazon gift card will be held for everyone who participates in the online survey.

A portion of people who responded to the survey will be contacted and invited to the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience at King's College in Denmark Hill for a face-to-face evaluation.

A blood test, a virtual reality day-to-day scenario, and more in-depth questions make up this level.

Volunteers will be questioned in-depth on their life experiences, including adversity and trauma, as well as whether their cannabis use has changed since completing the online survey.

THC and CBD, two compounds present in the plant, will be measured in the blood test.

Endocannabinoids, which are naturally produced in the body and resemble those in the cannabis plant, will also be measured to see if there are any differences between users and non-users.

Related: How To Get Prescribed Medical Cannabis UK

In order to determine how these changes with cannabis use change, the blood test will also provide information on gene structures and epigenetics, changes in how genes are expressed.

According to Dr. Di Forti's research, cigarette smokers experience epigenetic alterations. However, it is not yet known if cannabis users do.

The final component of the study will involve putting participants in a virtual reality scenario, such as at their neighbourhood grocery store, and asking them questions before and after to see how they react in social situations.

The same data will be gathered in a separate study from patients being treated for psychosis, which is thought to be caused by cannabis use.

The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience, King's College, Denmark Hill, London will invite a subset of all participants who completed the online survey from the current cannabis users and the never/only once or twice groups to come in for a face-to-face interview with the research team.

What do people mean when they call weed gassy, milky, hazy, dank or kushy? The aroma and taste of cannabis and terpene products can have a major impact on your preferences. Understanding what pot phrases signify will help you streamline your purchasing experience and identify the type of weed flavour you want.

We should also highlight that these cannabis labels are often based on certain strain families and the corresponding experience. For example, there are numerous cannabis strains that contain the name "Kush," such as "Gelato." Let's look at some common cannabis phrases and what you may expect from cannabis and terpene products when you use them.

Skunky Cannabis Terpenes

Skunky weed has a unique odour, and many people don't believe it's a pleasant one: skunk spray. Cannabis strains from the "Skunk" family of cannabis, which emerged in the 1970s, were particularly prone to this odour. Because of its distinctive aroma, the term "skunky" became widely used as a cannabis term, however, this odour is not always unpleasant, and many people enjoy it! It's powerful, yet it's a common flavour to boost when terpenes are added to bud or flavouring terpene compositions.

Hazy Cannabis Terpenes

"Haze" is a cannabis term connected with the same-named Sativa weed strain, which was first grown in the early 1970s near Santa Cruz, California. It also refers to its offspring, which currently include a number of hybrid strains. This strain's enthusiasts describe it as earthy, citrusy, or peppery. Enhancing the hazy lavender scent is an excellent approach to improve the flavour and aroma of formulations like Mandarin.

Kush Cannabis Terpenes

"Kush" is a cannabis term that has changed over time. Its origins can be traced back to the Hindu Kush, an Asian mountain range that separates Afghanistan and Pakistan. Originally, this cannabis phrase refers to Indica strains growing in that region.

Today, the term "kush" refers to both Kush descendants and cannabis in general. Kushy terpenes are enhanced in both bud and terpene formulations to emphasise the earthy tones associated with Kush. Kush boosters multiply the flavour and scent of compositions like Blackberry or Blueberry Kush by a thousand.

Dank Cannabis Terpenes

Despite its uncomfortably damp overtones, "Dank" is a cannabis slang phrase that meaning "good." It also refers to weed with a fat, pungent flavour that hits strongly, a flavour that comes from weed grown in a healthy environment and then properly dried and cured.

However, those flavours do more than merely enhance cannabis strains. A dank profile added to a terpene composition provides an extra punch. Bring up the zesty flavour and smell of terpene compositions such as lemon, pineapple, and cherry flavours, or amp up the punch of sweet and sour combinations.

Gassy Cannabis Terpenes

Have you ever heard of Diesel strains? This cannabis word refers to the "gassy" fragrance and feeling associated with Diesel strains. While it can be applied to any cannabis, it is most commonly associated with that family of strains and their distinct aroma. When you add gassy terps to a terpene formulation, you get a terpene formulation with a strong kick.

Milky Cannabis Terpenes

"Milky" is a cannabis phrase with a variety of connotations and connections. It's an adjective used to describe trichomes, which are a type of hair that grows on the outside of cannabis. Cannabis plants with hazy trichomes, or "milky" trichomes, produce a stronger high.

"Milky" refers to a creamy flavour when it comes to flavour itself. Terpene compositions like Grape Ape and Banana Bread cannabis terpene profiles have a naturally creamy texture and flavour. Terpenes can improve the milkiness, creamy flavour, and scent of terpene compositions to give your bud a smooth, kind of silky taste.

Sick of buying pre-rolls? Struggling to roll a joint without it looking terrible and side burning?

Check out our step by step guide on how to roll a joint - perfect for newcomers to cannabis or even people that simply never bothered to learn!

How To Roll Joints | An Introduction

To roll a crisp, clean joint seems to be a rite of passage for stoners and medical cannabis users alike ( although of course, in the UK you have to vape it to stay legal!) - something you learn to master during a chilled summer or else end up having to buy pre-rolls and have other people roll your jays for you. You might stick to purchasing packs of premium pre-rolls or smoking weed out of a dependable old pipe, but where's the fun in that? Rolling joints by hand has a ritualistic element that really sets the mood and is good for the mind.

What You'll Need To Roll The Perfect Joint

To get started, you'll need a few materials. Grab a weed grinder, rolling papers, a guide to filtering, a lighter or matchbook, some top-notch flowers from us or our friends at High Tier, or, let's be honest, some mid-range flowers if you're worried about failing your first effort. Grab your accessories from High Tier, Raw, Rizla, or Juicy if you want excellent quality at a decent price.

A word or two about these things: You don't have to spend a ton of money on a nice grinder. If joint rolling is new to you, a basic plastic grinder will do just fine. If you change your mind later, you can always upgrade - you can find a simple-to-use, basic cannabis grinder for less than £6 on eBay - however we recommend buying one that has a kief collector - more on that below. You'll want rolling papers, filter tips, a grinder, a lighter, and a rolling tray - however, there are always free options which we will mention below.

Step 1: Grind your cannabis material.

The most crucial preparation, other than picking decent rolling papers, involves getting your flower to the proper consistency. For even burning, your ground-up weed should be crumbly with no stems. In order to get there, put a nug in your grinder and grind it 10–12 times - at which point you should easily be able to turn it.

Have you noticed something powdery hanging out in your grinder's bottom chamber? It's called kief, and you will want to save that for later - it's concentrated with THC (or CBD if that's your flavour, of course!)

You may either put it back into your joint for more potency or save it for another time.

Step 2: Make a roach (filter).

A roach is a term used by almost all tokers to define the filter used in joints. Almost everyone uses the card from the rolling paper packet - however, you can actually use an ordinary tobacco filter and it won't affect your high. Again, a filter is not absolutely necessary, but it will prevent flower fragments from escaping and entering your mouth as you smoke. Start with a few accordion folds to prevent your filter from unfolding as soon as you finish rolling it. Additionally, this serves as a baby gate to keep wayward flower fragments out. Keep in mind that your joint will be as thin or thick as you roll your filter, so make your plans accordingly.

Step 3: Pack your joint.

Place your rolling paper on a tray, plate or magazine to catch any fallen material and then place your herb into the crease of the paper. Leave some space so that your roach can be placed at one end. Getting the amount that goes in might take a small amount of practice till you know by eye that it's correct.

Step 4: Pinch and roll

Grab the flower-filled paper by both ends, pinch the tops of the paper with your thumbs and forefingers, and rub your fingers together in an up-and-down motion to create a tight, cylindrical junction. You basically compress the blossom into a narrow log that is the same width as the filter by doing this. Once there, you're prepared to roll up the paper and tuck the unglued side of the paper around the filter. Expect to make mistakes because this stage requires patience and finesse.

Pro tip: Focus on getting the paper tight around the roach to start with. The remainder of the joint will fall into place from there.

Step 5: Twist and Lick

Now all you need to do to seal the deal is lick the bonded inseam like an envelope. Tap the roach end of the joint gently against a hard surface to help the material settle in evenly or gently pack the flower in with a pencil, chopstick, or similar pointy object at the open end.

To keep everything in place, twist the excess paper at the top of your joint. You now possess a hand-rolled joint! Does it not look ideal? Keep practising and check out more tips below for next time!

Common Issues When Joint Rolling:

— If your joint becomes loose midway through rolling it, stop and start again, this time pinching the filter more tightly.

— If your joint is smoking quicker down one side ('side burning'), you probably didn't grind enough. Next time, grind the material a little bit more.

— Need to keep relighting your joint? This usually means the herbs were ground too fine, which obstructs air from flowing through the joint. Next time, try grinding slightly less.

10 CBD SEO Tricks to Boost Organic Traffic

CBD SEO is a critical component in growing a CBD brand online. Due to paid advertising constraints, companies in the CBD market can profit especially from SEO.

In this article, we'll go over 10 CBD SEO tactics to help you boost organic traffic and stay ahead of the competition.

What exactly is CBD SEO?

SEO, or search engine optimization, is the process of making modifications to your website to improve its online exposure for searches in search engines such as Google.

SEO has numerous components, including "on-page SEO" and "off-page SEO." Within-page SEO refers to elements that affect rankings on a page, such as content, and off-page SEO refers to factors that affect rankings outside of a page, such as external backlinks.

"CBD SEO" refers to the application of SEO to a CBD-related website. While SEO-recommended practises do not always change based on the market, CBD is extremely competitive and frequently refers to health-related themes, which can influence how you approach things.

What is the significance of SEO for UK CBD brands?

While paid advertising and social media can assist drive visitors to your CBD website, search engines drive the majority of online traffic.

Because CBD cannot be advertised on Google, SEO is an excellent approach to boost targeted organic traffic to your website.

SEO is also one of the few strategies for generating traffic that pays off in the long run without requiring major ongoing expenditures.

A successful piece of SEO content can bring in organic visitors to your CBD website for years, resulting in a continuous flow of sales and greater brand awareness. An item that costs $200 may yield a return on investment of $1,000 or more (and in some cases, much more). SEO traffic is also very targeted, as individuals type in certain CBD keywords and you provide them with the exact information they've sought.

1. Use non-competitive keywords in your CBD SEO strategy.

If you have a fresh website, you won't be able to rank for competitive keywords like "CBD oil for pain." A new site cannot rank for phrases this competitive, no matter how interesting, engaging, or factually accurate its material is.

It is preferable to target frequently searched non-competitive keywords.

You'll need a keyword research tool like Ahrefs Keyword Explorer to find them.

As you can see, "CBD oil for pain" is often searched (39,000 times per month in the US on Google), but it's "very difficult" to rank for.

We can type in "CBD oil for" and filter by "KD" or "keyword difficulty" to discover a non-competitive term. Set it to a non-competitive range, like 0-10.

We now have a list of keywords that are simple to rank for while being extremely relevant.

These terms are all searched more than 200 times each month (which is decent).

"CBD for your feet"

"CBD to treat gout"

"CBD for allergies" and "CBD for trigeminal neuralgia" are two terms that have been bandied about.

You have a better chance of ranking for these keywords if your website is newer. It is to your best advantage, to begin with, non-competitive keywords. With time, you'll be able to target more competitive ones.

2. Increase the speed of your website

With Google's Core Web Vitals change, which began rolling out in early May 2021, website speed is more crucial than ever.

The answer is simple: the faster your website loads, the better the user experience.

Google is emphasising website performance, and it's in your best interest to maintain your pages and articles loading lightning fast.

Delete superfluous plugins (if you're using WordPress), optimise photos for file size and kind, and minify code are all common courses of action.

Google PageSpeed Insights will help you discover how your website's pages are currently performing.

PageSpeed Insights assigns a score of 100 to both desktop and mobile. More importantly, it identifies the source of the bloat and what you can do to remedy any issues that are slowing down your website.

3. Ensure that your material is "EAT" friendly.

Expertise, Authority, and Trustworthiness are abbreviated as E-A-T.

EAT includes a number of characteristics that influence the trustworthiness of a page and domain.

Expertise

Expertise entails having extensive knowledge in a given sector, ideally with genuine and credible credentials.

CBD and specific health-related CBD subjects, such as "CBD oil for cancer," belong under "YMYL themes." YMYL is an acronym that stands for "Your Money or Your Life."

Because CBD health-related topics are so important to people's health, Google aims to favour the ranking of pages and domains that have true expertise in these fields. The fundamental objective for this is to provide users with trustworthy information.

Assume you're writing about CBD oil and cancer. In that situation, rather than a general content writer, hire a CBD content writer with a medical background, such as a medical doctor (MD) or a PhD in biomedical sciences.

A workaround is to have a content writer produce it and then have one of these experts "medically examine" it.

Authoritarianism is about reputation and what you cover on your website.

If you have a CBD website, keep it focused on CBD themes and don't stray too far into irrelevant areas.

This will make it more difficult for Google to determine what you are an authority figure on at the domain level.

Your reputation is also an important aspect of establishing authority. Are there any other high-quality domains that Google values linking to yours? Are your domain's reviews positive?

Trustworthiness is defined as being open, legitimate, and offering reliable information.

It is also recommended to provide simple access to contact and support connections.

The accuracy of content is critical for trustworthiness. When it comes to health-related CBD blog themes, your article should cite original sources from medical search engines rather than other non-peer-reviewed blog posts.

4. Concentrate on search intent

Google wants to provide individuals with easily available and reliable information that precisely fits the search intent of the user.

Content that ranks high and stays high over time is gratifying to search intent.

When you develop pages and posts for your CBD website, you must ensure that the page gives consumers what they are looking for.

The simplest technique to determine search intent is to enter the focus keyword you're after into Google. Then, look at the top 3-5 posts and look for trends.

When you search for "CBD oil and pain," it's evident that this term is appealing to an informational search purpose, with people wanting to learn how CBD may aid with pain.

While typing "CBD gummies" reveals that this is a transaction search intent, where consumers want to buy CBD gummies.

Enter the person's mind by entering the keywords you want to target and see how you can supply them with more valuable material than the current top-ranking competition.

5. Conduct an SEO audit to identify technical faults.

SEO audits are an excellent approach to quickly uncover technical SEO issues with your website.

A Site Audit tool can be used to execute an audit. As an example, consider the Ahrefs Site Audit tool.

You begin by entering your URL.

The crawl is then performed.

Depending on the size of your website, you'll obtain a "health score" out of 100 after some time. The higher your score, the fewer critical technical errors you must resolve.

You'll notice issues like pages connecting to 404 pages (pages that don't exist), pages lacking incoming internal links, and pages lacking meta descriptions or short meta titles.

Site audits are an excellent approach to ensure that your website is "healthy" and not hampered by technological concerns.

Correcting errors, especially major ones (such as numerous links to non-existent pages), should be done on a regular basis. You don't want technological obstacles to stymie your spectacular content.

6. Conduct a competitor analysis

Your competitors are more valuable than you realise. Learn about your competitors' SEO strategies. There is plenty to learn. Examine their SEO history. Examine what has and hasn't worked for them.

You may view historical statistics for any domain using a tool like Ahrefs Site Explorer. You can see how their organic traffic has evolved over time, which keywords they rank for, and which sites are the most popular.

Assume you're a CBD company in the United Kingdom, and one of your competitors is https://cbd.co.uk/.

Here's what we discovered when we examined their top pages.

We can notice that their post on "is CBD oil legal?" is doing quite well. It receives 567 visits each month.

This information is really useful when brainstorming blog topic ideas.

Now you can examine what their top pages are, choose those that aren't too competitive, and make blog posts that outperform theirs.

7. Include internal links throughout your sites and posts.

Internal links, which connect sites on the same domain, are an important aspect of SEO.

Internal links assist users in navigating between your pages while also providing search engines with a clear knowledge of your website's priorities.

The more internal links you point to a page, the more important that page appears to Google.

For product pages, you can benefit from internal links. Backlinks from other websites are more likely to be received by informative blog entries that address inquiries like "is CBD legal in Texas?" than by product pages.

People are unlikely to link to a product page titled "Buy CBD Shatter Online." However, you can use internal links to add internal backlinks to these pages, which will help them rank higher.

For example, if you mention the word "CBD shatter" in a blog article, you can link to your product collection page titled "Buy CBD Shatter Online."

Consider the "anchor text" you use when adding internal links. The words you're linking to are referred to as anchor text.

It's preferable to hyperlink the precise words "CBD shatter" or "Buy CBD Shatter" rather than the phrase "click here" because it provides users with a clearer notion of what page they're heading to.

8. Create meta tags for each of your pages.

Meta tags are text snippets that provide search engines with information about the contents of a page.

Optimize your meta titles and meta descriptions to keep your pages and posts SEO-friendly.

Meta description

A Meta title, often known as a website title, is a title that appears in search results for any page or post. Meta titles inspire users to click on your page and assist search engines in understanding its contents.

Meta title best practices:

Include your focus keyword in the headline, preferably at the beginning.

Keep it between 50 and 60 characters long.

Concentrate the title on appealing to the appropriate search intent.

Assume the main keyword is "CBD oil for pain."

"CBD Oil for Pain: What the Research Shows" is a nice meta title.

This meta title is effective since it is 50 to 60 characters long, includes the focus keyword early on, and the phrase "what the research shows" appeals to the appropriate search intent.

Meta description

In search results, meta descriptions are the descriptions that appear beneath the meta title.

Consider meta descriptions to be a preview for your page. It introduces the issue and entices them to visit your website to learn more. The meta description should also reassure the reader about what they will see on the page.

Meta description best practices:

Maintain a character count of 80 to 160.

If possible, include your primary keyword as well as a secondary keyword.

Instead of stuffing keywords into the description, write it as if it were ad content.

A suitable meta description for the keyword "CBD oil for pain" would be as follows:

CBD oil, also known as cannabidiol, is a cannabinoid that is occasionally used to treat pain. Here's what the research on CBD and pain says.

This meta description is effective because it is between 80 and 160 characters long, focuses on what consumers want to know, and is actionable.

9. Emphasize "evergreen" material.

Evergreen content is content that remains relevant for an extended length of time.

"CBD advantages" is an example of an evergreen CBD term. While the research surrounding the benefits of CBD changes, people continue to look for CBD benefits.

"Trump and CBD legalisation" could be something that isn't evergreen.

While there may still be search volume around this topic, it will peak when it is hot news and then decline as it loses relevance over time.

Topics like "CBD advantages" and "How does CBD feel" remain relevant long after they've been published.

Evergreen subjects are wonderful for SEO because you're creating content assets that will bring you, visitors, on a continual basis.

Both evergreen and non-evergreen content are acceptable, however evergreen topics are usually a better place to begin. In this manner, you may lay the groundwork for a solid foundation of consistent blog traffic.

10. Build backlinks to your website

Backlinks are king, and content is queen. However, neither is more significant than the other, as a kingdom needs both.

Because the CBD industry is so competitive, backlinks are critical. You need an authority domain to rank for competitive searches, and the more dofollow connections you have from respected sites, the better.

Building backlinks naturally occur over time if you publish high-quality content, maintain a positive reputation, and make genuine human connections with others in your sector.

While links will emerge naturally over time, you may and should be proactive in creating connections using white-hat techniques.

For instance, you can examine a website that has an external link to a blog post that now redirects to a 404 page. You can recommend to the website owner via email that they utilise your resource (blog post?) to replace the broken link.

There are numerous methods for constructing linkages. You may learn more about link building by reading this excellent post.

In the end, CBD SEO is not much different from "regular" SEO. The distinction is that CBD is a competitive sector, and it is also tied to health, which necessitates certain extra precautions in order to acquire Google's trust.

The main takeaway is to offer authoritative information on areas that people frequently look for (starting with less competitive topics first). Make sure your website is technically "healthy," and do everything you can to deliver the best customer experience possible.

CBD is one of the most popular daily supplements today and has been for several years. With such a popular product, brand rivalry is sure to be fierce, especially in the digital arena. eCommerce is one of the most competitive businesses, and staying ahead of the competition is becoming increasingly difficult.

However, there is a way to stand out in the digital scene, and that is through the usage of backlinks. Backlinks have been used for a long time to boost the search engine ranking of websites and eCommerce stores, and as long as you do everything correctly, you can expect amazing results.

SEO and SEM are the future of marketing, and getting in on the ground floor while the iron is still hot can offer you an advantage in the expanding CBD market. In this essay, we'll speak about CBD backlinks, what makes them so important, and some important points to remember.

What Exactly Are CBD Backlinks?

CBD Backlinks are links for the CBD industry. Backlinks are links to your website located on other domains (other websites). Backlinks are links found embedded in blog posts and other content that lead back to a centralised point of sale, which is most likely your website.

Backlinks are crucial components of SEO because they play an important role in the optimization process. Backlinks demonstrate to search engines that you run a credible website, which is confirmed by the website where the backlink is available. Consider backlinks to be an essential promise to search engines like Bing, Yahoo, and Google.

Backlinks are possibly the most important component in organic search engine ranking - and have been for many years. Backlinks are still important and aren't going away anytime soon. While the ranking algorithm is always changing and has experienced major changes since backlinks were initially employed, backlinks continue to be an important component of your website's ranking considerations for worldwide search engines.

What Exactly Are Quality CBD Backlinks?

Cannabidiol is and has been one of the most popular supplements for quite some time. It's available as tinctures, gummies, drinks, and even vape juice, as the market grows, thrives, and, most importantly, evolves.

CBD is gaining popularity as a result of its purported therapeutic qualities. That means the rivalry among eCommerce platforms, sellers, and CBD websites is only growing worse.

Companies can distinguish themselves in the eyes of search engines by using quality CBD backlinks, which means that their website and products will receive significantly more exposure than if they did not use backlinks.

Investing in high-quality CBD backlinks is critical if you want to attract new consumers, enjoy organic growth, and establish industry authority.

Why Do CBD Backlinks Matter?

It's no longer about how good a product is these days; it's about how many people see it. Marketing is the primary driving force in sales, and if you want to sell something, you must invest in the appropriate marketing type.

The second page of Google is the perfect spot to hide a dead body, which is why you should never be satisfied until your material is on the first. It's difficult, time-consuming, and expensive, but if you succeed, you may make a lot of money and rank high on SERPs.

SEO solutions promise to assist you to get your content higher up in the SERPs by adhering to the rules established by the algorithm.

What do Google, Yahoo, Bing, Baidu, Yandex, and other search engines have in common? Each of them has its own methodology for dealing with page rankings. Following the constraints, requirements, and trends of that algorithm will eventually make your content more compliant, resulting in a higher rating on search results pages.

While the algorithm on big search engines is always changing, backlinks continue to be one of the most essential indicators that the system analyses when ranking your websites.

Backlinks serve as proof that your content/products/services are worthy of being displayed on another website, therefore the more backlinks you have, the better.

The PageRank algorithm is used by Google, the world's most popular search engine, to rank results in SERPs. While this is not Google's sole raking tool, it is by far the most popular. It uses a complex mathematical formula to calculate a website's relevance, and backlinks play an important role in the calculation.

Consider each backlink as a vote in support of your content and merchandise. The more votes you have, the higher your ranking on major search engines will be.

This has been the case for some time, and it is the industry standard for ranking websites in the competitive search engine market.

How Do You Get CBD Backlinks?

There are numerous methods for obtaining backlinks. Earning backlinks is placing links to your website on other websites, which is sometimes easier than you might think. In this section, we'll go over five popular techniques to get CBD backlinks in 2021.

Please report any broken links.

Reporting broken links is one of the most common strategies to earn backlinks these days. This strategy comprises contacting the webmaster of a CBD-related website and alerting them that one or more of their links are broken, as well as recommending your link as a viable replacement for the broken links.

You'd be amazed how many dead and 404 links exist on popular CBD websites, and if you're persuasive enough, your link can quickly find its way into an already-established piece of content on a high-end website.

Reviews and Testimonials

As long as you phrase and package them right, testimonials and reviews are by far the simplest approach to acquiring high-quality backlinks. Many websites enable users to write comments, reviews, or testimonials on nearly any piece of material, and if you can sneak your link into one of these remarks, you've just earned a backlink.

Assume the testimonial is too promotional or simply poorly phrased. In that instance, the webmaster may delete it, but if you leave a testimonial on your product or a similar one and convey it without being pushy, gaining backlinks in this manner will be a piece of cake.

Posting as a guest

Guest posting isn't just the best way to get backlinks in 2021; it's the best way to get backlinks in general. Many websites, particularly those in the CBD, Cannabis, and Vape industries will let you guest write for free, and you may be able to earn a commission as a result.

Whether you get a commission or not, guest blogging allows you to include as many backlinks as you like in your guest posting content, as long as the moderator/webmaster of the website you're publishing on approves.

Guest posting and content marketing are the most effective, profitable, and successful methods of gaining backlinks.

Persuasion and Promotion

CBD comprises a tiny, insignificant piece of the internet universe. There are more journalists, bloggers, and content creators in practically every industry and speciality around the world, and the CBD community is no exception.

If you want to get high-quality backlinks from top-tier websites, approach bloggers, journalists, and content creators personally and ask them if they'd include your link in their posts. Of all, this is essentially what affiliate marketing is all about, and it is also an excellent strategy to build backlinks.

Finding these people is simpler than you would think. All you have to do is look up someone in the CBD niche, get their email address using popular email searching tools like Voila Norbet, Hunter.io, and Toofr, and write a persuasive email explaining why they should include your backlinks in their next piece of content.

The Skyscraper Approach

One of the most important advances in the realm of digital marketing is the skyscraper technique. This strategy is shockingly straightforward; all you have to do is discover a successful, highly connected piece of content, develop better material, and then advertise your enhanced alternative to the individuals who linked the original piece of content.

How Do Backlinks Aid CBD Website Ranking?

Backlinks are closely related to your website's SEO, which affects its ranking on key search engines. Backlinks increased the total value of your content and website, causing it to rank higher in search results for a certain query.

When it comes to backlinks, there are a few standards to follow, such as using the proper anchor text and keywords, creating the right piece of content, and placing your backlinks on the right website.

An anchor text is a text on which your link is "piggybacked." Making it relevant to your website is critical, so do some keyword research before coming up with the perfect anchor.

Relevancy is another important factor to consider when creating your CBD backlinks, as you can't truly market your CBD vape juice in a finance article on a tech website.

Another important factor to consider when it comes to backlinks is the domain's age. The older the domain, the more trustworthy it is in the eyes of search engines. If you want to generate high-quality backlinks to your CBD website, it's always ideal to post on older domains.

CBD is a significant niche, and there are numerous websites of various sizes and forms dedicated to it. Ultimately, picking your battles is the greatest method to gain high-quality backlinks that convert and result in higher SERPs.

Why is Guest Posting/Content Marketing the Best Strategy for Creating CBD Backlinks?

Guest posting and content marketing are at the cutting edge of digital marketing, SEO, and SEM. Because the above-mentioned worlds influence your website's rating, it's critical to invest in high-quality guest posts and content marketing if you want to develop the proper CBD backlinks in 2021.

We've already discussed relevancy and content quality in this article, and by guest posting, you may develop high-quality backlinks that will go right back to your website.

You can do the following with guest posting and content marketing:

Build high-quality backlinks

Create high-quality content

Increase brand exposure and awareness

Increase your fan base.

Create leads

Profit from organic growth.

Increase domain authority

The higher the quality of the article, the better your chances of getting the most out of it. A low-quality content put on an unrelated CBD website will not propel you to the top of the SERPs. Similarly, a high-quality item with the correct backlinks and anchor text posted on a good CBD website will do wonders for your search engine rating.

Guest posting and content marketing are the foundations of SEO, and they perform wonders for fortifying your backlinks and ranking you higher on search engines.

Why is it critical to choose the best set of targeted keywords for CBD backlinks?

At this point, SEO and keywords are nearly synonymous. Finding the correct collection of targeted keywords for your high-quality CBD backlinks is crucial. If you want to develop high-quality CBD backlinks without using outreach link-building services, you must start from scratch and conduct keyword research.

Creating the correct CBD SEO backlinks is simple if you use the right keyword research method, and there are plenty of them floating around. Finding the right keywords on your own is difficult, but it is doable if you are patient.

Outline the relevant themes, choose appropriate phrases, and determine the common and long-tailed keywords from them. When you're finished, it's time to put them to the test. There are numerous keyword tools available, and the majority of them will determine whether a keyword is suitable or not.

Once you've compiled a list of beneficial keywords for your content, it's time to complete the process by leaving just the best, most relevant, and highest-ranking keywords behind. The right keywords create good anchors, and good anchors improve your backlinks.

How Do You Choose Anchor Text For CBD Backlinks?

To build the greatest CBD backlinks, you'll need some high-quality keywords and even better anchor text (s). While keywords are vital for ranking your content, having an appropriate anchor text for your backlink is critical.

If you want to give your CBD SEO backlinks the greatest anchor text possible, you must follow the following rules:

Make the anchor text as short as possible.

Only use high-quality keywords;

Make a change to your anchor text;

Before deploying the text, it should be tested.

Use a moderate number of connections;

Don't fill your text with keywords;

Make it as pertinent as possible.

As long as you remember to follow these criteria, creating and completing your anchor text will be a breeze.

What Are Google's CBD Ecommerce Website Restrictions?

Google imposes several unusual limitations on CBD-related eCommerce websites, particularly now. Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a hemp derivative and a cousin of marijuana. However, just because the majority of CBD is sourced from hemp does not preclude the existence of CBD products derived from cannabis.

As a result, CBD is not legal everywhere. Some countries implement legal legislation and limits on CBD in general, which has a direct impact on CBD commerce.

This means that before you start working on your CBD eCommerce website, you must comply with all local rules and regulations. CBD derived from hemp is allowed in most countries throughout the world, whereas CBD derived from marijuana is not. Some states, however, have approved the use and sale of CBD extracted from marijuana.

Google will impose different requirements and restrictions on your CBD eCommerce website based on your area, so make sure to verify your local laws and regulations, as well as your product selection, before attempting to rank higher on Google's SERPs.

How Many Links Should Your CBD Website Have?

When it comes to CBD SEO backlinks, you should create as many as possible, as long as you can do so on the relevant websites. When it comes to your specific CBD SEO Backlink material, you must find the sweet spot. Backlinking is an art form, and if you want your guest post to function optimally, make sure it contains the appropriate number of backlinks.

You should place varying amounts of backlinks on your given piece based on its length, keyword density, and a variety of other factors.

Looking at what your competition is doing is a great approach to get a sense of how many backlinks you should include in your given piece of content. Look for high-ranking CBD posts, blogs, and content and try to replicate their linking as precisely as possible.

How Do You Get Backlinks When You Have a New CBD Website?

Building high-quality backlinks for your brand-new CBD website could be one of the best things you can do to spread the word. With so many CBD Backlink Checkers, White Label Link Building, and CBD Link Building services to choose from, you should have no trouble finding someone to develop high-quality backlinks for your brand-new website.

However, if you choose to forego the blogger outreach services and develop your own CBD backlinks, you're in for a bumpy but highly rewarding road.

If you have never written content before, it is critical that you understand the foundations of content development, SEO, and backlinking.

The most effective strategy to generate free CBD backlinks is to create your own in-house guest posts. These postings might be as simple and clear as a few hundred words or as detailed and conclusive as a whole guide like this one. Many possibly free CBD backlinks are circulating on the web; simply look for them on key search engines.

CBD backlink checkers are another useful tool that can assist you in creating strong backlinking content.

If you don't want to do all of the hard work yourself, there are many freelancers and independent content creators who can assist you with all of your CBD backlinking needs.

When running a CBD website, store, or company, it's critical to invest as much as possible in marketing, especially if you're just getting started. Building reputable CBD backlinks should provide you with an advantage over the competition and help you develop authority in the field as quickly as feasible.

10 Things to Consider When Building CBD Backlinks

There are a few things you should keep in mind if you want to build the best backlinks and rank at the top of your targeted SERPs. Here are ten things to keep in mind during the process to make it as simple, straightforward, and streamlined as possible.

Quality trumps quantity!

When it comes to backlinks, you should prioritise content quality over all else. High-quality content with the right CBD SEO backlinks is considerably more likely to convert than a jumbled tangle of links.

It would be best if you concentrated your efforts on producing as much material as possible while focusing all of your attention, efforts, and resources on quality. When it comes to CBD backlinks, one good piece of content surpasses 10 mediocre pieces of material.

Make use of high-quality keywords!

Keywords, like backlinks, are essential components of SEO. If you want to have high-ranking content with high-quality backlinks, you must enrich it with relevant, high-authority, and high-quality keywords.

Including CBD keywords in your backlinks will provide your article with a competitive advantage and improve your ranks.

Consider outsourcing!

If you've never produced whitehat CBD backlinks before and are unfamiliar with guest posting or digital marketing, you might want to consider hiring a CBD Backlink marketing firm or a content creation freelancer.

There are several high-end yet low-cost choices available on websites like UpWork, Freelancer, and Fiverr that might make your CBD SEO backlink article creation as professional and simple as feasible.

Investigate the local legislators!

CBD products aren't exactly new, but despite the fact that they've been on the market for a while, the law hasn't kept up with the current CBD developments. Most CBD products derived from hemp are legal globally, however, CBD derived from cannabis is not.

CBD derived from marijuana is completely legal in some cases and locations, but it is completely illegal in others. Aside from the legal implications, if you sell marijuana-derived CBD goods to a demographic or location where it is prohibited, Google's algorithm will penalise your SERPS.

Make sure you're up to date on all of the CBD-related legislation and regulations in your area.

Use high-quality anchor text!

An effective anchor text is nearly as important as the backlink itself. If you want to build trusted CBD backlinks, make the anchor text as accurate, relevant, and optimised as possible. Maintaining optimised anchor text is difficult because you must account for do-follow and no-follow connections, variety, and placement.

Don't stuff keywords!

While keywords are an SEO's best friend, using too many might harm your content and render your backlinks ineffective. Overstuffing keywords may harm the quality of your content, your SERP ranks, and the performance of your backlinks.

There is no optimal number of keywords; the average keyword density recommended by SEO professionals ranges between 1% and 2% of the total word count.

Concentrate on organic growth!

Artificial growth is self-evident, and it has a negative impact on your website in the long term. While rapid development may appear to be a wonderful thing, the key is to maintain a positive upward trajectory.

Backlinks should be used to give authority, relevancy, and content to your CBD website, not only to briefly boost your SERPs. If you want to create an efficient business model out of your CBD eCommerce store or website, you'll need to take it slowly and let organic growth take its place.

Learn from your errors!

Creating backlinks isn't the simplest task in the world. Algorithms change, trends shift, and the website you thought was the ideal candidate for your backlink has now vanished. Things happen, and you should always be prepared to fail in your efforts to build backlinks.

While you should always hope for the best and prepare for the worst, your backlinking experience can teach you a lot. You'll learn what defines a good backlink from your own venture via time, work, and persistence, which will be critical for your future backlinking.

Promote your content!

If you want to get backlinks from your own written content and guest posting, you should do everything you can to promote it. Marketing your guest posts and backlinking content will expose it to a new audience, which will eventually lead back to your website.

This is an excellent way to increase authority, spread brand awareness, and skyrocket your website's SERPs, as search engine algorithms prefer this type of growth.

Maintain your relevance!

When it comes to trusted CBD backlinks, relevance is perhaps the most prominent player. You must keep your backlink content as current, relevant, and consistent as possible. These three factors ensure that your website is always visible to search engines, as the more high-quality content you post, the more popular your website becomes.

Relevancy is an important factor in SERPs, as posting irrelevant content on a relevant website or vice versa renders your backlinks ineffective.

Backlinks Between Vaping and CBD SEO Service Package

The CBD SEO package listed below is pretty much all you need to start ranking your CBD, Hemp, or Vape website on search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, and others. The pricing for each set of backlink categories is indicated, so you can buy whatever you want or the entire package at a significantly reduced rate. For the best results, I recommend purchasing the entire package because it will provide you with a one-stop-shop for your website's SEO as well as a large amount of backlink diversity.

Below is my slightly improved search engine ranking strategy. I've used this strategy with some of the most prominent vape and CBD companies, and it works every time. I've also collaborated with some large corporations, gaining access to resources that are otherwise unavailable to the general public and most people. This package is insanely powerful and will undoubtedly allow you to easily dominate the search engines.

Our monthly CBD SEO Backlinks package is designed for all CBD and hemp-related businesses. This CBD backlinks package focuses on SEO's off-page component. As you may have noticed, the CBD market has recently virtually exploded, and almost everyone is attempting to capitalise on it. Unlike vaping, CBD products have a much broader appeal in terms of target clientele, making the market extremely profitable. Having an excellent hemp or CBD website is insufficient. You must invest more in search engine optimization in order to increase site traffic and sales. Backlinks have a significant impact on how well a site ranks in search engines. Each backlink is a vote of confidence for search engines, which will then rank your website higher for your set of keywords. However, not all backlinks are created equal, and it is critical to ensure that each backlink comes from a CBD or vape-related website or resource. It is also critical to pay attention to domain metrics to ensure that your backlink is coming from a clean and trustworthy resource (good trust flow) with a strong domain authority.

All links are of the highest quality and will provide a significant SEO boost to your website.

What to anticipate from this Vape and CBD SEO Package

improved rankings for the keywords you've chosen

More organic traffic equals more sales.

An increase in your website's domain authority and statistics

The goal of our CBD SEO Backlinks Package is to get your CBD website ranked higher in search engines for your set of keywords. We will begin to rank your website for a set of keywords you have chosen by creating quality links on CBD-related resources. As your site climbs the search engine rankings for various keywords, your traffic should increase, and you should see an increase in sales. After we have created all of the backlinks for your site, we will power those links up with tier 2 links such as forum posts, blog comments, wiki articles, social bookmarks, and so on. The goal is to fortify those backlinks and boost the amount of juice they pass to your website.

Backlinks from Guest Posts on Vape and CBD Websites

I can create do follow and permanent backlinks within these vape and CBD blogs. These are the most effective contextual and niche-related backlinks for helping you rank for your set of keywords. I will include a link to your website within an existing article on the sites listed below. The following sites are currently accepting guest posts:

If you give me your own pieces, please make sure they are at least 1,000 words long, 100% unique, written in the highest English possible, and not sales-driven (informative guides or reviews as opposed to a sales pitch).
4) Please sign up for allcbdstores.com and allvapestores.com and submit your listing through the 30-day package. Please let me know the name of your company so that I can improve your listing. This will assist you in establishing trust with your clients. You should also distribute the guest pieces on social media to increase traffic and aid in search engine indexing.

Reporting

You will receive a detailed report with the backlink urls once all of the job has been finished. The work will be completed in roughly a month by a team of ten workers.

My budget is significantly lesser. Can I purchase a smaller Package?

Without a doubt. You can simply select the services that you require. The prices are all listed.

Is this package OK for both vape and CBD sites?

Yes. This package is suitable for both CBD and vaping sites. The distinction between CBD and vape products is getting increasingly blurred, with many vape stores now selling CBD products and even having separate CBD product shelves.

I would recommend ordering it once a month.

Do you own all of the CBD and vape sites?

No. I have unique arrangements with these websites to upload information on their behalf. I make a cut for each site.

I do not wish to purchase the complete bundle. Can I purchase specific services?

Perhaps you've even had your social media account permanently disabled because of it. Here is how to advertise your cannabis, CBD, or hemp products on any platform you like!

This blog post will get a HUGE update shortly so check back for more info!

We’ve got good news and bad news, so we’ll give you the good first: Yes, CBD and cannabis brands can get their advertisements approved on Facebook, Instagram, AND Google in 2023 - however it requires some effort from your business, and there’s still no way for approval to be fully guaranteed (although if you follow this guide correctly, it is something even new CBD & cannabis brands can accomplish fairly easily!

A research conducted in mid-2023 discovered that 49% of adults aged 18-30 had used CBD at some point in the past or were current users.

It was also shown that 22% of those aged 60 and older had tried or were currently using CBD.

This suggests that on average, 23 million Britons have tried or are now taking CBD.

Women own 76% of the firms that offer CBD.

Furthermore, 45% of Brits are interested in trying CBD.

With figures like this, it's no surprise that businesses are getting in on the action. However, when it comes to MARKETING CBD, things become (much) more complicated.

It comes as no surprise that the BEST place to promote CBD products is online. 1) Because the majority of consumers spend the majority of their time online, and 2) it's the ideal platform for getting in front of your buyers in the most eye-catching way imaginable. Literal magic.

The truth is, even though the internet is the dominant CBD sales channel, with over 60% of the total market being online, CBD business owners like you have a million hoops to jump through when it comes to CBD advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

Let's get your CBD advertisements going!

The problem? It's simple: if you advertise cannabis-related products, the platform disables you - if they haven't yet, they eventually will. They get everyone... or DO they?

What is Facebook Native Advertising?

In a nutshell, Facebook native advertisements are ads that blend in with and reflect the information around them.

Native advertisements can be found in the news feeds of Facebook and Twitter, as well as a few other websites and apps.

Yes, Native advertisements are sometimes chastised as a medium for social paid advertising since they might give the impression that the network or advertisers are purposefully misleading consumers into believing that the paid advertising placements are genuinely organic content.

However, with a few exceptions, customers are actually quite comfortable with both the practise and the concept:

They must be from reputable manufacturers.

They must be pertinent.

Because CBD advertising benefit from being sandwiched between other health and medicinal posts, getting words and imagery approved for use on the Facebook platform can be tough.

The problem with selling cannabis/CBD on Google, Facebook and social media platforms:

Cannabis and CBD-related products are not allowed to be advertised on social media platforms - whether it's legal where you live it matters not - the most famous for this is Facebook and Tiktok which come down hard and fast with the ban hammer and with no real way to appeal, however, it also applies to Twitter, Instagram, and almost any popular platform.

The automated algorithm designed to detect selling has become advanced - even if your post doesn't directly sell anything, they can work out what you are posting about just by the comments from your followers.

Somebody reports you - believe it or not, this is VERY common - and believe it or not it's usually a competitor operating in the same space as you. They will use 'alternate' or fake accounts to report you whilst simultaneously adding your followers as friends to invite them to their own venture. It's not right, but that happens.

Lastly, hashtags and words MATTER. For example, the word 'cannabis' is 100% restricted on Facebook - but 'canna' isn't! Go to Facebook search, and type 'Cannabis. and you will receive zero results. Type 'Canna' and you will find an assortment of cannabis-related businesses and communities. Pay attention to which words are banned and which are safe - we will write about that soon so subscribe to stay up-to-date.

Millions of cannabis-related businesses have had years of hard work undone overnight - social media pages being given zero distribution via a shadow ban or simply deleted and unpublished with no way to appeal. Even websites that don't sell cannabis-related products can get banned. Nobody is hidden from 'the eye in the sky'.

But there is a way. It's so simple it hurts, yet there are companies charging thousands to get in 'the know'. Lucky you - I'm gonna tell you for free. If it works, how about dropping us some love with a sexy little backlink to this article? Not a huge ask for game-changing info, I'm sure yo agree!

Guide To Selling Cannabis | CBD | Hemp

- On Social Media

All you need to do is set up a sales funnel - with the landing page not mentioning cannabis or CBD at all except by clicking a link within your page.

Let's say you're selling CBD oil. Set up your advertisement via a fresh website page based on symptoms that CBD helps treat. For example, you create a blog post named "Seven Methods To Fight Anxiety" - and write your article around that.

You include however, a banner within your article that reads "Shop Anxiety Products Now" for example.

Essentially, what you are doing is creating a landing page that social media are happy to allow - but with an advertisement, within your advertisement, to funnel customers directly to your product on a different web page.

Social media will find nothing wrong with your ad - as long as the wording on the landing page fits the bill - and you are then getting all the customers that are clicking your banner.

Can I advertise cannabis via paid ads?

YES! You can absolutely use this method to advertise cannabis and CBD, and it applies to both organic wall posts and paid advertising.

Can I advertise cannabis on any platform?

YES! This works 99% of the time on ANY PLATFORM - Including Facebook and Google

100% guaranteed CBD advertising, then?

Yes and no. If you mess up and include information related to something they don't like, you'll get a big NO from the platform. The same goes for those of you that have been red-flagged - if that's the case, just run your paid ad from a fresh account. If you get turned down? Try again, and have a good think as to EXACTLY why your CBD paid ad was declined. You probably did something super obvious that can be fixed easily.

You want to build your brand, nurture new leads, and ensure that your customers are aware of your fantastic new products. However, CBD oil firms may struggle to overcome the stigma that has sadly (and unjustly) been linked to them as a result of their association with marijuana. This creates certain unique issues not encountered in other industries, particularly in marketing.

Social media can be an extremely effective marketing tool, and one of the most effective ways to use it is through Facebook Ads. These ads appear in the home feeds of targeted Facebook users, showing your copy, image, and videos in a prominent location. But, before you begin creating your ideal Facebook advertising, you must first determine whether you are permitted to advertise on the site in the first place.

How to Promote CBD Oil with Facebook Ads

While both Google Adwords and Facebook Ads consider promoting CBD Oil to be against their terms and conditions, it appears that advertising CBD Oil on Facebook is possible. Several brands have recently began to surface on my Facebook wall. Pure Sport CBD, OTO, and Naturecan are the most prevalent CBD brands that openly advertise on Facebook Ads.

I propose visiting one of these websites and then keeping an eye out for one of their retargeting advertisements the next time you're on Facebook or Instagram. When you see one of their advertisements, click on it and make a note of the website that it leads you to. Pure Sport CBD is a great example, and they are doing a fantastic job with their social media advertising campaign.

To get around Facebook's refusal to accept CBD websites, some companies are developing a second website with little to no mention of CBD. Pure Sport CBD, for example; if you click on their Facebook Ad, you are brought to a second website, puresportoil.com, rather than their main website, puresportcbd.com. Not only has the phrase "CBD" been deleted from their domain name, but the written material on this landing page also makes no reference of the term.

Pure Sport CBD is an exception, as the links to the products on this landing page do, in fact, redirect to their parent website, which mentions CBD. With over 1000 Trust Pilot reviews, I assume Pure Sport has grown to be a really substantial brand. To begin testing this strategy of creating a second website, I would highly advise against linking back to your parent page, which mentions CBD oil.

We tested the similar strategy; our parent website is thecbdsupplier.co.uk, thus the domain name is a major impediment. We have now launched a second website with only a few products and no mention of the term CBD anywhere on the site.

The following are the key points: * We do not link to any CBD websites; * None of the images have the phrase CBD in their filenames; and * We have not used the term CBD in any of the Alt tags that describe the photographs.

Once you've launched your second website, it's time to build your first Facebook ad. While your website should be safe for Facebook advertising, you will still need to be innovative. Ads using CBD imagery or references are frequently flagged, and the ad is not allowed.

One white-label brand I saw advertised, for example, replaced the letter 'B' in the term 'CBD' with an emoji of a honeybee.

Is it possible to advertise CBD oil using Google Adwords?

While Facebook Ads may be feasible with further effort, Google Adwords is more challenging. I've seen a few CBD brands promote via Google Adwords on occasion, but this is quite infrequent and nothing near as consistent as Facebook Ads.

The major method for accomplishing this is identical to how Pure Sport accomplished it with Facebook Ads. Instead of deleting any mention of CBD in the advertisement, the key difference is that items are sold and renamed as hemp seed oil. This is slightly misleading, as hemp seed oil and CBD oil are not the same thing.

The ad's links then go to a creative landing page in its phrasing, frequently referencing to hemp seed oil.

Such a tactic does not endure long, and Google will quickly remove your advertising within a few weeks. You face the danger of having your account or card details banned, making it difficult to create a fresh Adwords account for future advertisements.

While I've seen this method in the last year, I haven't seen it recently. It takes a significant amount of time and effort to develop an ad only to have it removed in a matter of weeks. This time, in my opinion, would be better spent building a social media community around your CBD brand or developing interesting content for your website, which will generate traffic indefinitely.

As a result, I would not advocate attempting to increase visitors using Google Adwords; however, I believe Facebook Ads is unquestionably worth a go; several other firms are constantly promoting and having some success.

Alternative Methods of Promoting Your CBD Oil Website

You may not be allowed to market CBD goods using Google AdWords, but it doesn't mean you can't take advantage of the internet. High Committee is a specialised digital marketing agency that has helped CBD oil brands increase traffic and lead growth online. We understand both the options available to you and the constraints on CBD oil marketing, so you can be confident that you're taking a legal and effective strategy with us. Please contact us to learn more about how we can assist you.

Did a doctor's stance on cannabis affect the level of your treatment or perhaps even make you feel like a drug addict? You aren't alone. If you're interested in speaking to your GP about cannabis, we've put together a helpful guide. Most physicians aren't trained to address the medical uses of cannabis. Keep in mind, consulting a cannabis specialist clinic who can address dosing, preparations, and cannabis composition will be more beneficial than doctor visits alone.

Only around 9% of medical schools even mention cannabis as medicine. And in fact, medical professionals have been taught up until recently that cannabis is a very dangerous and addictive substance.

GPs are in charge of providing patient care in the NHS and are under pressure to see more patients in a shorter amount of time. They're required to stay current on new medical research in addition to caring for the thousands of patients at their practise.

Many general practitioners are still novices in the field of medical cannabis and its potential use in the treatment of ailments including fibromyalgia, arthritis, neuropathic pain, and chronic pain. Even the fundamentals, such the endocannabinoid system and its significance in regulating hunger, mood, and pain perception, are still not covered in medical school.

Uncertainty about how to discuss medical cannabis with their primary care physician before seeing a specialist is a significant problem that patients who contact us, or their families or caregivers, face. In this article, we'll look at the benefits of seeing your doctor before choosing a course of therapy as well as coping mechanisms for what might be a challenging discussion.

It's conceivable that you will know more about cannabis and the endocannabinoid system than your doctor when you see him or her since this field of medicine is so recent in the UK. Even if it seems like this is the case, it is still crucial to consult your doctor before choosing a course of treatment. This is so that medical cannabis can be prescribed safely and the precise course of treatment chosen takes into account your complete medical history, any current or past illnesses, your family history, and any medications you may have taken in the past. The ideal person to provide you this information, which may subsequently be given to your treating expert, is your general practitioner.

Unfortunately, there are still barriers within the medical community that prevent doctors from treating their cannabis-using patients accurately and fairly. These barriers include an ongoing stigma, a lack of knowledge about recent cannabis research, and uncertainty about whether discussing cannabis with patients is legal.

Cannabis users, whether they use it for medicinal purposes or not, and the rest of the globe share the need for access to healthcare. So what should a cannabis user do?

RELATED ARTICLE: GUIDE -How To Access Medical Cannabis In The UK

Be Open-Minded (and Prepare for a Negative Response)

When discussing their use of medicinal cannabis with a doctor, both adult users and patients should be aware that they may encounter bias, ignorance, or both.

Unfortunately, few medical professionals are familiar with the endocannabinoid system or cannabis as a therapy (ECS).

Here are some tips to consider if you're having trouble approaching your GP about medical cannabis:

Before seeing your doctor, you may already be experimenting with cannabis so you may already know which strain, extract, or even particular cannabinoid is ideal for you in this situation. If not, it's important to consider your choices. THC has a psychoactive impact that may uplift the soul, calm the body, and improve mood. It undoubtedly helps a lot of individuals in getting out of bed in the morning and beginning their day with a good outlook.

Although CBD doesn't give consumers a euphoric high, it does have a lucid and clear-headed impact that lets them continue to be completely engaged and productive. In order to meet certain demands, several extracts are also available that have different ratios of the two cannabinoids.

Find Out What Your GP Thinks About Cannabis

We advise medical patients to inquire about their views on the use of cannabis as medicine from their GP if they can find a suitable opportunity to do so.

I advise patients who are hesitant to discuss UK medical cannabis usage with their doctor to start by asking, "What do you think about the use of Medical Cannabis for... (insert condition)?" In this approach, you may gauge the doctor's opinion on cannabis while without disclosing information that you may not be ready to reveal.

Prior to your visit, make a list of questions to ensure that you get all the information you need. Bring the list with you to the consultation since it is simple to forget some questions. You may wish to consider the following questions as examples:

Will CBD or cannabis affect how any of my meds work?

• Which CBD or cannabis strain would work best for me?

• How should I ingest cannabis for optimum results?

• Where can I obtain more trustworthy data on cannabis?

Do I need to be mindful of any negative effects?

It is better to be honest. Physicians take patient privacy seriously. Tell them everything, from your reasons for believing cannabis might be helpful to your worries about using it. They will understand your circumstance and do their best to assist you the more openly and honestly you are. Justify your desire in receiving therapy. This can be because you've tried several therapies and nothing has worked, or it might be because you've experienced negative effects. Some people desire to return back to work, have better sleep, or have less pain so they can live better quality of lives. There is a growing body of evidence that supports cannabis as an adjunct therapy that can assist decrease other medicines. This is something that many patients who visit our clinic want to do in order to cut down on or stop using opiate painkillers. Your doctor will probably support this.

It may be tempting to attempt to discredit your doctor's assessment. Yes, taking control of your health by managing your stress, eating well, and using cannabis responsibly may be transformational. Google does not, however, have all the solutions. You need to take your doctor's concerns seriously if they are related to your usage of cannabis or CBD.

Inform them that you want to keep them updated on your treatment and engaged. Your primary care physician's disclosure of your medical history enables the treating specialised doctor to choose a safe, effective course of action. This template recommendation is offered, however your doctor may also submit their own reference if they so want. If a treatment plan has been recommended for you, Cannabis Access Clinics will let your general practitioner know the results of your appointment and any further monitoring required. GPs have a crucial role in the treatment of patients with chronic illnesses or chronic pain, and it's crucial that they be engaged at every stage.

Nevertheless, physicians often make mistakes, particularly when it comes to cannabis. In the most developed nations, the plant has just returned to popular culture, and medical students don't study much about it in class. Follow your instinct and get a second opinion from a different medical specialist if you believe your doctor may have missed anything.

You may keep track of your experiences by journaling. Learn via experience, trial, and error what works best for you. Keep a notebook where you may record your feelings and ideas. Was a certain cannabis kind too potent? Maybe a certain CBD oil recipe didn't quite meet your expectations? You'll learn more the more recordings you make.

Discuss the current research.

Some members of the medical community have criticised the most current NICE Guidelines as being overly conservative and have suggested that further study is required. Working with Applied Cannabis Research, Cannabis Access Clinics is conducting CACOS UK, which will monitor how each patient responds to therapy, if their pain, mood, and quality of life improve, as well as whether they have any negative effects. In the future, this makes sure that treatments are given safely and more successfully.

Let your doctor know that Cannabis Access Clinics conducts free seminars for doctors.

These webinars, which are free for GPs, provide a brief overview of medicinal cannabis, the endocannabinoid system, and the potential benefits of CBMPs in lowering opioid use. The 30-minute webinars are conducted by Dr. Lucy Davey. Your doctor may reach CACllinics via email: drdavey@caclinics.co.uk or at 020 3998 0115 for further information. If doctors have any questions or concerns, the team at CAClinics team will be available to help them.

Your GP may not be well-versed on weed. Here's why.

Cannabis has made strides in the 21st century as a treatment for a number of ailments. Even though there is increasing evidence supporting the therapeutic potential of cannabis, American doctors are still mostly ignorant about the drug's potential benefits.

Since more people than ever are interested in cannabis as medicine, many people may be surprised to learn that their doctor is unlikely to be familiar with the plant or its medicinal advantages.

The Journal of the American Medicinal Association (JAMA) released an opinion piece by Stanford University School of Medicine resident physician Dr. Nathaniel Morris on June 3, 2019, which detailed the widening knowledge gap about UK medical cannabis between American physicians and their patients. Morris came to the conclusion that most doctors are appallingly uninformed about the biochemical effects, legality, and most recent clinical research related to weed, especially when compared to the ever-expanding pool of American patients who use medical cannabis, based on recent statistical evidence and his anecdotal experience as a doctor.

Among the studies Morris cited were a 2016 survey in which 85% of doctors said they had not been taught about cannabis in medical school and a 2017 study in which 38% of 51 resident doctors admitted they were unaware that cannabis was still classified as a Schedule I drug under the Federal Controlled Substances Act, which means that the government believes it to be highly addictive and without any discernible medical benefits.

Cannabis has been shown to be a successful therapy for fibromyalgia, arthritis, cancer, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The endocannabinoid system (ECS), which consists of the body's receptors, lipids, and enzymes that interact with cannabis components to maintain internal balance and control many physiological activities, is often the route to therapy. The idea that many ailments may be caused by cannabinoid deficiency and are thus treated with cannabis is also supported by a wealth of studies.

Cannabis is being studied by more doctors than ever before, and coursework at medical schools throughout the UK is beginning to become more inclusive of cannabis as we go into 2023.

However, doctors and pharmacists are gradually becoming more knowledgeable about cannabis as treatment. The University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy found that 64% of respondents from U.S. pharmacy schools said they incorporate medical cannabis in their doctorate of pharmacy curriculum. The research, which was presented in the journal Currents in Pharmacy Teaching and Learning's January 2019 edition, also revealed that 23% of the participants who had not yet included cannabis in their curriculum intended to do so within the next 12 months.

Goldstein advised people interested in using medicinal cannabis to first inquire with their doctors about their opinions on the drug as patients continue to seek information about it. Additionally, Goldstein advised seeking the assistance of a cannabis expert who could provide more detailed guidance on cannabinoids, products, and dosage.

You can be let down if you approach your doctor for medicinal cannabis guidance since, as Goldstein said, "most don't know anything." According to Goldstein, speaking with a cannabis specialist will be more advantageous than seeing a doctor alone until federal regulations and medical education significantly change how they handle medical cannabis.

This is because different cannabinoids, dosing, and preparations can be discussed in detail, increasing your chances of having a positive outcome.

Mix your favourite tequila with some cannabis to get the high and the flavour. Great neat (with a slice of lemon!) and tastes awesome if you bang it into a cocktail! It's 420 PARTY TIME, people!

What other recipes can I make using weed-infused tequila?
Both alcoholic cannabis dessert recipes and a variety of infused drink recipes may be made using canna-tequila. Here are some recipes you might want to try:

Cocktails with Tequila and Weed.
Cannabis Infused Cocktails (Margarita, anyone?)
Cannabis Infused Ice-Lollies.
Cupcakes with Weed Tequila Infused Margaritas.

How potent you want your weed tequila to be is completely up to you. Since it will be fairly potent for most people, we will use 3.5 grams of cannabis buds for 250 ml of tequila (or 14 grams in 1 litre). If you have little to no tolerance, I advise using 1-2 grams of cannabis per 250 millilitres of tequila. For our example, we will be using 3.5g (1/8th).

You may use a concentrate such as hash oil or distillate to create a very strong weed tequila.

Please be aware that the effects of alcohol and cannabis when combined have a strong "crossfaded" effect that some individuals may find overwhelming. When first evaluating the potency, don't consume excessive amounts of alcohol. Consume your weed tequila sensibly and in a secure setting.

How long should I let my cannabis infusions sit?
If you don't have much time, you can perform a rapid infusion in one to three hours. If not, we advise shaking the cannabis-infused tequila twice daily for 7–14 days as it infuses. The flavours and scents of cannabis get stronger and more noticeable the longer you let it steep.

Is decarboxylation a good idea?
Do you want your tequila to have THC and CBD infused for their enchanted effects? You should decarboxylate your cannabis before adding it to the tequila if the answer is yes. Heat is used during decarboxylation to activate the THC/CBD in cannabis. For details on how to accomplish it at home using an oven or other kitchen equipment, ,see our guide on weed decarbing.

Don't decarboxylate your cannabis before infusing it if you don't want the effects of cannabis to permeate the tequila. By doing so, you may impart the flavour profile, scent, and ,terpenes of your cannabis into the tequila without causing any THC or CBD-related effects.

Ingredients

1 large mason jar or glass container.

1 Cheesecloth, clean leggings, or filter material large enough to encompass an eighth.

1 Bottle of your favourite tequila – I prefer Gold.

1 1/8th ounces (3.5g) of decarboxylated cannabis - you can use THC, ,CBD, ,CBG or CBN.

(,Click here for a guide on how to decarb your material!)

Instructions

Tequila with cannabis infusions is a fantastic summertime fiesta cocktail to enjoy on Mexican night (or any other night, really). Remember that "crossfade" is real! Alcohol will start working straight immediately in alcoholic canna drinks, but the buzz from cannabis may take up to an hour to start, much as it does with edibles. All we're saying is to use this recipe responsibly and don't overdo it!

Let’s make some cannabis-infused tequila!

Fill a glass mason jar with your favourite tequila (or just use your tequila bottle).

Place 1/8th (3.5g) of your decarboxylated cannabis in the cloth or leggings. You can choose to seal the cloth to confine the cannabis, but it is also OK for the cannabis to float freely in the container. Just remember to filter your tequila afterward.

,Click here for instructions if you're unsure how to decarboxylate your cannabis.

Submerge your cannabis-filled filter or cloth into your tequila-filled beverage container.

Place the beverage container in a cool dark place for 10 to 14 days, remembering to give it a shake once or twice per day.

British Police Commissioners who advocate for classifying cannabis as a class A and 'dangerous drug' are completely out of touch with a society that is ending the war on weed.

Countries that have decriminalised weed as of Q4 2022: Luxembourg, Italy, Saint Vincent & The Grenadines, Germany, Slovenia, Bermuda, Portugal, Mexico, Belize, Saint Lucia, Canada, Paraguay, Thailand, Malta, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Jamaica, South Africa, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Spain, Moldova, Dominica, Ecuador, Estonia, Israel, Saint Kitts And Nevis, Switzerland, Trinidad And Tobago, Uruguay, plus a further 19 US states.

"The UK government should reclassify cannabis from a class B to a class A drug, putting it on the same legal level as heroin or cocaine", according to a group of police commissioners at the UK Conservative party conference. Doing so would significantly increase the penalties for anyone caught using or selling weed. It's a ridiculous idea that is completely at odds with the rest of the planet, where the war on weed appears to be coming to a close.

State-by-state, cannabis prohibition is waning in the US; several of our European neighbours have announced plans to legalize it; the dagga ban was declared unconstitutional by the South African Supreme Court, and Canada and Uruguay were the first countries to acknowledge cannabis as a legal good in decades. Even Thailand's notoriously stringent government decided to loosen up and repeal the country's cannabis prohibition in June, freeing thousands of non-violent drug offenders and distributing a million seedlings to help the country's fledgling marijuana economy.

Why then are we still so outdated? How can it be that thousands of us are paying through the nose to access our medicine when we are also paying National Insurance which is supposed to cover our medical bills?

Cannabis use peaked in the late 60s, which saw it become yet another front in the culture wars. Although the "war on drugs" in Britain wasn't as racially charged as it was in the US, the stereotype of young black men as pushers or cannabis addicts did travel across the pond, inflaming racial tensions that in the 1980s erupted into riots in Bristol, Brixton and more.

The "skunk" controversy and tabloid sway occurred in the late 2000s. They promoted the notion that current weed wasn't like the stuff your Nan smoked, and that it might cause violence or psychosis. It's true that at this period indoor hydroponic growing facilities dominated the market, producing harvests that were typically richer in THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) than marijuana that was brought into the country illegally from "natural" growing operations in tropical climates.

There is a modest but continuous link between high cannabis usage and mental illness, but no overall negative consequences on society as a whole. Although the number of smokers (and the potency of what they're smoking) has increased significantly since the 1960s, schizophrenia rates in Britain have remained largely constant during that time. Additionally, since legalisation, psychosis rates have not increased in Washington, Colorado, or Canada. In any case, legalised states are not devolving into the stoned-out dystopia that haunts Peter Hitchens' dreams, indicating that the vast majority of smokers lead sensible, fruitful lives.

Politicians avoid controversy at all costs because they don't want to come across as "soft on crime." Ironically, the need to keep this business hidden is what fuels crime. Grow-houses frequently employ modern-day slaves and are a hotbed for shootings, stabbings, and armed robberies. The same type of hatred that erupted into riots in the 1980s and 2011 is being bred by the police when they stop and search young black guys based on the "smell of cannabis."

The UK stands out even among rather conservative nations. Israel's right-wing politicians support legalisation. A strategy to remedy the wrongs of the drug war and offer people imprisoned during it the best chance to succeed in this new, lawful endeavour is being discussed by lawmakers in the US, which previously led the world in the "war on drugs." Marijuana has gotten so accepted that Washington State announced in June of last year that it would offer free joints as part of a "joints for jabs" scheme as part of a Covid immunisation blitz.

CANNABIS IN THE US

The US is far from being an ideal example. The federal government has still not legalised it, making it appealing to the criminal element to grow marijuana in one state and sell it in another. Additionally, because dispensaries are not permitted to deposit their funds in banks, they are an attractive target for thieves. Similar circumstances exist in the Netherlands, where people refer to the nation as a "narco-state" and where the products sold by the well-known coffee shops are just tolerated rather than legal. Canada, meantime, went too far in the liberalising route and gave corporate monopolies total control of the market.

But there are indications that attitudes toward the pungent green substance are shifting in this place. The UK is one of the top exporters of medicinal cannabis (while curiously refusing it to its own residents), more than half of Britons now support legalisation, and even Norman "Nobby" Pilcher, the policeman who stopped the Rolling Stones, recognised his actions were wrong before dying. However, the rapper Nines was just sentenced to 28 months in prison in the UK for smuggling marijuana through Poland. The penalty was called a "waste" by the judge.

UK POLITICS: CANNABIS

Our political and media establishment will appear more and more like out-of-date dinosaurs as the world evolves around us. Perhaps for this reason, London's mayor, Sadiq Khan, announced the creation of a London drugs commission to examine the country's drug laws. People like the former home secretary Priti Patel, who tweeted: "The mayor has no powers to legalise drugs," will make his fight difficult. They wreck lives, break families apart, and damage communities," Khan said, evidently mistaking her work in Rwanda with her fact-finding assignment.

For the time being, though, spare a thought for the hundreds of people in this nation who are currently safely enjoying a plant while being separated from their families.

"The UKs current drugs policy achieves exactly the opposite of what is intended. In fact, the greatest supporters of cannabis staying banned are the dealers because it’s the government that keeps them in business! Yes, really, the government and the gangsters are on the same side. Every minute our government delays on this is more cash shovelled into the pockets of organized crime, more cannabis sold to children, and more dangerous, contaminated products consumed by British people".

,- Peter Reynolds

It is high time that the UK caught up with the rest of the world, and stop putting people away for growing cannabis in their own homes.
