A podcast featuring interviews with cannabis pioneers and 420 culture.

Montel Williams is the host of Let's Be Blunt with Montel. The 420 podcast aims to close the knowledge gap between general and in-depth cannabis knowledge. One of the most well-known cannabis proponents in the nation is Montel Williams. Since his diagnosis in 1999, he has used cannabis-based medicines to successfully treat the symptoms of his chronic condition.

As an Emmy Award-winning television personality whom Americans welcomed into their homes for more than 17 years, Williams attained the position of media celebrity. He has developed into an inspirational speaker, author, businessman, and global patient champion in addition to his TV career. Williams first displayed signs of MS in 1999, at the height of his TV career, manifesting as a strong, constant neuropathic pain in his legs and feet. His doctor advised him to try cannabis after finding that medicines weren't working to treat his discomfort.

Williams became a proponent of changing cannabis laws in the US early on. Williams was one of the few prominent voices on Capitol Hill fighting for their rights at the time when patients were being taken out of their homes in wheelchairs by the police for using cannabis to relieve their pain. He has fought for the passage of cannabis laws in significant states over the past 20 years and has led the charge for military veterans to have access to medical cannabis without fear of losing their benefits. He currently holds the positions of Founder of Lenitiv Scientific and the Montel by Select brand in addition to serving as the host of the "Let's Be Blunt" podcast, which disseminates knowledge and data about the cannabis industry.

VETERANS CANNABIS PROJECT | STEPHEN JONES

On this special Veteran’s Day episode of Let’s Be Blunt, Montel speaks with the Executive Director of the Veterans Cannabis Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving U.S. military veterans’ quality of life through the opportunity of cannabis. Stephen served in the United States Navy for over 20 years as a Naval Aviator and Commanding Officer. His professional experiences span global development, aviation, organizational development, innovation, macroeconomics, security cooperation, defense financial management, and acquisitions. Nine million+ veterans cannot access medical cannabis through their healthcare provider, even in states where cannabis is legal. VHA doctors cannot recommend cannabis or submit the forms that many states require. The federal status of cannabis has also made it nearly impossible to research the impacts of cannabis on veterans’ health issues such as TBIs, PTSD, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression. New legislation is pending to improve access in legal states, but we are not here yet. #cannabisheals #cannabisdaily #veteran #veterans #veteransbenefits Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMGyFAMo_k-0Q7Ui9DXCCmQ?sub_confirmation=1 Learn more about Montel Williams and his show: https://letsbebluntmontel.com/ FOLLOW MONTEL • Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/MontelWilliamsFan/ • Twitter - https://twitter.com/Montel_Williams?s=20 • Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/letsbebluntmontel/?hl=en For Montel's FREE THINKING Channel GoTo https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIPA9h9AFaYoFrC-45MS2IQ
